  • Picked up the new VRS: 2013 Fabia VRS by Graeme_Smith, on Flickr

  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

  • modified the cup holder     It's now a hobnob holder

cleaned it inside and out, and roadtested a mk2 fabia vrs

Same as me yesterday, love it!! LOL :rofl:

I've been busy today:

Fixed the glovebox light;

Put in a set of LED H3 bulbs in front foglights;

Put in LED bulbs in most of the remaining interior lights - boot, main & map lights. Doors already done, Glovebox to do.;

Replaced fuse #4, having blown it during replacing boot light.

Elephant hose Mod;

Re-attached EGR;

Realised the exhaust heat shield is a little loose;

Ordered Superpro bush for engine steady;

& Decided it needs a damn good clean!

:) Replaced head gasket on my 278,000 mile Estelle 120L5. Apparantly not covered under warranty. :'(

Washed it for the 1st time since August 2010. I forgot how good it looks clean

Fitted my new intake manifold then found I've bought the wrong injector seats. Doh!

I did relocate the catch can, tidy some wires a bit and do some of the catch can pipework so not a complete failure.

But the car's still in bits :(

Decided to extract them from my old manifold after buying the tool I didn't want to buy and broke two. Bugger.

Filled the boot, back seat and front seats with 114 new 2` x1`kitchen floor tiles, as the tiler couldnt pick them up

Loved the lowrider look, with the sills 2 inch of the floor, but hated the detour away from the speedhumps on the way home

Okay I am officially an idiot.

They do fit. Ignore everything.

:D

Getting there with the reassembly. Last few pipes are proving somewhat difficult to get on.

New catch can pipework

I am in SWMBO's serious bad books for spending so much time on it.

Looking really good Rob.

I personally would be really worried if I wasn't in my SWMBO's bad books for spending/tinkering with the car :giggle:

I took a black sack FULL of bits and bobs laying around in my car. No wonder I've only been getting 52mpg (bangs head) :smirk:

All ready for it's and my first FULL interior valet. Bless

Washed it for the 1st time since August 2010. I forgot how good it looks clean

Go and sit on the naughty step!!! :giggle:

SWMBO's Ferbi.....

Washed, wiped, waxed, sealed, tyres dressed, glass cleaned hoovered, new car smell....... for the last time :'(

Never mind, new Ferbi vRS tomorrow and I can do it all again :rofl::giggle::D;)B)

Well I did quite a bit to my Yeti today.

I replaced the orange rear indicators with silver ones, fitted the LED boot light (what a difference that makes!), fitted an ejector seat, a smoke screen maker, a silver chrome effect cupholder surround and fitted my detachable towbar for the first time to see how it works!

Fitted new rear speakers

Not a Skoda, but still figured this is the most appropriate thread. Today I cleaned my Lupo (despite it only being washed yesterday) intending to polish it, but it got dark so will have to do that in the morning before I go job hunting at car dealerships :).
