What did you do to your Skoda today?

Featured Replies

Had a look at it today when I took it to the garage and it wasn't down to the cords, you could just see the tread pattern on the outside strip with some more across the rest of the tyre.

Got a pair of Avons at my local for £150. The same tyres would have cost £112 but I wouldn't have been able to get them before the 25th but I'm busy then so it would have been next month by the time I could get them fitted and I didn't fancy running on odd wheels for any longer than necessary. Definitely worth getting them off there though when I'm replacing the other 2 so thanks for the link.

See, just a little scuff.

And this can be the souvenir from the weekend. Along with the T-shirt:

Changed the whole exhaust with NOS genuine bits off ebay, including postcat oxygen sensor. Amazed how much smaller diameter the two boxes were on the old aftermarket crap that was on there (complete with collapsed innards in the back box after only 3 years/35k miles).

Wonderfully quiet now. :)

gave it a good hoovering out as it's being traded in really soon, no difference to the price as that's all agreed but I'd be embarrassed to hand it over filthy :-)

Took the 2 spare wheels out of the boot and put the original back in and put some stickers on that I got from the National:

And took it over 62000:

Since I had to drive back home from the national I'm driving steady just to see how many miles it will do to a tank.

How much is that costing you a month?

It costs 4,68£

I am sharing 500gb data whit another sim.

500Mb I'd have thought??

No Gigabyte. ;)

I give 38£ for 500gb including HBO and spotify. And then 4,68 £ for an extra SIM card.

I live en the country and mobile internet is the only solution with good speed. 50/20mbit.

Whereabouts do you live?

Denmark.

I gathered that, I was wondering what area? Looks like Aalborg on your pic, if that's you under the blue spot?

Correct. 25 kilometers south from Aalborg.

Cool. Never been that far north but stayed in Silkeborg a few years ago.

Ah, OK! The £4.68 for 500GB is a bit misleading then! ;)

Yeah. I can see that. [emoji6]

But the fact that I am paying 4.68£ to get almost free limited internet in the car I true.

I gave I a wash today and took some pictures of my latest mods.

Its my own work with some help from a guide on her.

Footwell light mounted front and back.

Some of the picture are missing. But you clearly get the info. ;)

Footwell light mounted front and back.

Did you power them directly from the CECM? if so what pin did you use?

On our 2014 Yeti the pin number to power the footwell lights have changed... I am not sure what the correct pin is yet.

Yes. I grounded it and pined it directly into the bcm over the clutch.

Like the picture in the link with the screwdriver.

The white plug. Pin 50 I am sure.

Ah right, pin 50 is now used for the rear fog light (2014 F/L Yeti)... back to the drawing board.

Yeah. Just searched the Internet on the issue. But I can se that you are ahead off me on that one. ;)

I would say that Eddie might have the answer. But you have already bin in touch with him.

Sorry I can't help.
