  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

Took the Superb to the seaside and achieved a reported 60MPG by driving like an old man (cruise control set to 56MPH on the motorway and the A roads). Returned home to find my new interior rooflight LEDs had been delivered so fitted those. Just waiting for the footwell/boot LEDs to arrive now.

I'd take a picture but I'm lazy :)

took mine down to peppyuk & purchased a few bits from him, got a bargain, then went onto portsmouth & spent a few hours there with my stepson,

Vacuumed boot, then fitted rubber mat and stuck a mini storage bag with high vis vest, foil blankets and snow shovel (going to take that out :D) in the boot, before going to the tip.

Fitted new LED DRL bulbs - work great but give bulb dash errors :(

Reverting to another supplier now.

http://www.fizzmo.co.uk/ These guys are amazing, the first no fault led buls, good price, speedy service and good communication

Cheers Alan - will keep them in mind, currently have a set in which "appear" to be working, well for the time being anyway.

Fitted a new pollen filter, hoovered out, cleaned up, then fitted new electrical sockets and holder on the towbar.

Stuck my national trust sticker in the windscreen

Used Meguiar's ScratchX 2.0  to get some rid of some scratches, not all came out unfortunately. This morning I fitted VRS gear stick accessory, and filled up with V Power as tesco had run out of Momentum 99. 146.9 per litre- my wallet is now £71 lighter!

Came out of Uni to find some fecktard in a ford focus had decided to use my front splitter as their parking guide so its now sporting some lovely scratch's along the top face of it.

Got these in the post today :)

Alan to get side lights like yours which do I buy, http://www.fizzmo.co.uk/ , most say no Error but not on the side lights, so are they okay.

I've just been for a drive in my Octaiva. It has to be the first time that SWMBO & I have been for a 'pointless' drive out in a very long time. Was a wonderful evening for it, very enjoyable and just as we pulled up outside the car clocked over 40,000 miles. :)

^^ That was a long pointless drive - 40,000 miles :p
