Sold one Fabia and bought another. Welcome to the TDI 1.9 pd Elegance estate.

Changed both mirror glasses as both where loose, bought them from OccyOccyOccy on here, turned up & got a nice wee plesent surprise, they have a blue tint in them.

Also bought a black Vrs rear view mirror from OccyOccyOccy aswwll to replace my grey one. Fitted that also

And finally, stole my mates Aero arms & wipers from his Bora as he's stripping it.

Almost forgot, paid the government £60 to drive over potholes aswell.... Grudge paying road tax.

So all in other than the road tax I'm a happy man

Primed and coated my front right fender. Considering I was using a spray can on the balcony instead of proper equipment it didn't turn out all that bad.

Difference in colour is due to the flash and 12 years of harsh Swedish weather.

Re-fitted my OEM seats :(

Took the opportunity to vac the car with the seats out and treat all the interior plastics & cleaned the inside of all the windows/windscreen

Took it to dealer to try and sort out BT issues with my iPhone.

Gave me a Fabia greenline 2 estate as a courtesy car. Economical, very rough engine, no power or torque (well, it does have 100bhp less than mine :lol:)

Had the wheels balanced again! Had them done on Thursday last week but it was worse, so had them done again today and they were out by the same margin as Thursday - me thinks that the first place didn't actually put any more weights on.

Had my car picked up by the dealer for an Aircon service, It broke when it was 29 degrees in the shade, and now the weather has broken

Not today, but on Tuesday, swapped my xenons back to my standard halogens as one of them had stopped working.

Sending back today to get a replacement :(

Also yesterday swapped over my wheels to even out tyre wear

Had it towed home...

Took it out for its first run out in over a week.

I didn't do anything but a nice man replaced a faulty rear shock absorber that started leaking a couple of weeks after it had first been fitted.

Replaced the front Continentals with Bridgestones as they were down to 2mm after 14.5k.  I've had Contis for yonks now and though I find them great in all weathers they wear like they're made of chewing gum :( I wouldn't mind if drove the car particularly hard but I don't.

Took my surfboard out of the passenger side as its been in there for five days and I still haven't managed to go :-(

Carried out an oil and filter change myself with Catrol Edge 5W-30 504/507 spec oil.

Washed and dried it then applied most of my Le Mans vinyls.

Took its first photo - not sure I'm that keen on the factory fit vinyl wrap

Fixed a brake hose that had mysteriously become unclipped. Cleaned the threads of the wheel nuts and re-applied copper grease. Finished applying my Le Mans vinyls and put RainX on all my windows. Running lovely after the oil change too, even though the last one was 'only' 5 months/10k ago and with long life oil.

I stuck my passenger window closed as I had decided it doesn't want to stay closed anymore :(
