I fitted a new hub and wheel bearing, two tires, front discs, and updated the front wishbone bushes.

Notched my chassis using the half shaft and a peak district b road.

went to fit the two new headlights, then as I was ready it started to persist it down! Try again tomorrow?

fitted new headlight units from Depo, never again will I buy Depo crap. Direct OEM replacement my arse. Managed it without removing the bumper completely, which was the only bonus of the whole ****ty job. THEN I realised I forgot to swap the up n down motors into the new units. I might have a play around and see if I can refit them at some point. Anyway, they look shiny and clean, as opposed to the faded and yellowed originals.

Up n down motor thingumebobs fitted, now to get them aligned so I can drive legally in the dark!

Carbon wrapped the colour coded strips on the lower front grilles on my Octy Mk1 VRS, de-badged the rear apart from the VRS badge, and then fitted door protectors on all four door edges.

Productive day so far!!!

Checked for Fox damage after last night but luckily none

I do not know why they cant be aligned for here or the continent when you buy them , as you had them aligned at an mot center, as they do for free anyway

ah, because there are four different mounting points, 2 screws for the top, one bolt for the front and another bolt for the bottom. All the mounts have a lot of play so even if they were aligned for one car, if moved to another they'd be out of alignment again :( (well on the Mk1 Fabia anyway)

Fitted a second mobile phone cradle and associated wiring for power and audio feed into the Roomster
