  • Picked up the new VRS: 2013 Fabia VRS by Graeme_Smith, on Flickr

  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

  • modified the cup holder     It's now a hobnob holder

I didn't do anything to my skoda, my wife backed it into a post though.

I ordered some powerflex bushes for my Fabia today as the standard ones are nackered! Dear things mind but worth it!

I don't 2 hours cleaning sticky residue off the window left by duct tape. Then I put the inside of the door back together. It's nice to finally have all doors fully working :)

smashed my lock off the other day, fitted new one, still have issues but it'll be sorted. At least the biatch opens and shuts now. Amazing how much **** builds up over two years :wonder:

Good to know you've got it sorted too. The chapter of our lives called "a door not opening" is finally over :)

Fitted face lift rear lights and Seat Sport strut brace. :)

Also took the armrest off the door again ready for more LED upgrades.

Fixed the dodgy rear door lock. :)

Washed the muddy bits, wiped over the alloys and fitted some mud flaps :)

Paid the mobile valeters to wash and vac both cars :)

washed the Yeti and waxed it with some spray on wipe of stuff (it is the thought that counts), filled screen wash and checked oil, needs topping up on bottom of cross hatchings, however the oil is where it is needed most, the boot of the Fabia, I then put the dog in the boot to go for long walks at t'head (arty thing on a slag heap in st helens)

Fabia might get a wash tomorrow too.

Took the Octavia to the dealer to sit there while I looked unimpressed at the Rapid.

Ordered trim clips and Plumbers Gold for the Fabia as my efforts to make out watertight have started in earnest.

Changed the LEDs in the armrests. :)

Swapped front seats :)

What did you go for?

Gave the car a two day holiday over the weekend....poor thing didn't know what to do with itself.

And it behaved brilliantly this morning, starting no problem even though I'd neglected it...

What did you go for?

These. Spot the difference ;)

Steve, they look nice.

What car are they from?

Yep, really pleased with them. They're from a Mk6 Golf GT.

Not sure if they were standard fit or if this is an upgrade option, with the Alcantara centres.

And yes, the driver's one is fitted now as well - before someone asks! :p

Drove it.... lol, to the wifes work then to TPS

Picked up from TPS -

Timing belt kit

air filter

fuel filter

Oil filter

Pollen Filter

Water pump

5L of 5w40 oil

G12 ++ Coolant

New Wipers

set of rear pads

Added an OME chrome Skoda badge to the tailgate to balance the 'Roomster' badge on the opposite side.

Nothing.

Just my accounts.

Cleaned the winter alloys with AutoBrite Purple Rain and Snow Foamed the car with CG No Touch Snow Foam

Rinsed..Dried..No wash buckets or wash pads/shampoo
