Despite my misgivings the wife's choice of Lava/Petrol blue is looking wonderful. Inky sort of colour under clouds and bright as you like in the sunshine. I guess i'll have to give it a week or two though, to see how a coating of life suits it

Not looking forward to the hassle of selling these tyres but otherwise our first Skoda is turning out really well

Well going to try and post a couple of pics of my new Yeti on the drive (can't photograph it anywhere else at the moment for reasons previously mentioned!

The VC10 first flew 50 years ago, doesn't time fly when you're having fun?

I added a green stripe to finish my Greenline off

Nice.

Should wrap the roof in Green, like the Motorshow Yeti's where

The thought had crossed my mind

Here's an up to date photo of Kevin wearing his winter wheel/tyres and with his new lowered (eibach) look;-

Very smart; but it will be snowing by the weekend. :giggle:

That colour looks lovely when the sun hits it! Like it.

First trip out was to the Yorkshire Dales. Lots of different road conditions and it handled just as well as the reviews suggest. Being overcast it wasn't exactly the most photogenic environment, but I think this looks pretty good.

Here's the Gufs-mobile (note the plate) on the bumpy track around Claerwan recently. Not a great pic, as it was from my phone and into the sun, somewhat. It's Aqua Blue, but I can see why people often consider it as being silver.

I'll get some more arty shots when I go north of the border later this year.

Nice.

Good route, isn't it?

Fab for views, and I'll probably go further round it next time if Dad isn't with me, and fearing for his back! Really enjoyed driving the car around the Elan Valley though - went there again recently (for wildlife mainly). Another iPhone shot - not too impressed with the colour cast on the shots from it. Shouldn't be so lazy though - had 2 DSLRs with me, so could have taken something much better! :D

I've never seen so many potholes in my life! So yes that "road" around the reservoir is VERY bumpy. This is my GPS recording of the trip:

I have yet to upload my photos from the trip so can't post any picture (yet).

Okay, it's Hardknott Pass in the Lakes....

And here is another one of a Yeti in their natural habitat

Just a pic of 'Gladys' in front of our country seat! LOL. We had a great weekend near Brecon, great food & drink, in moderation The drink not the food! :giggle:

Averaged 44.3 on the trip from Pembrokeshire and back. This even included a visit to Ikea Cardiff to pick up a chair. Though Mrs. Sat-Nav didn't find the quickest way there. Biut I forgave her as she had been superb in and around the lanes in Brecon/Abergavenny..

I even had a quick try of the off road button as we had to park on a muddy grass car park in front of Raglan Castle. Nice to know it all did it's business and we set off very smoothly with no fuss.

Couple of weekends ago on Salisbury Plain. Some wet bits some dry bits, but all fun :-)

That's more like it

Last time I went there, I had a little water come over the bonnet. Car went into limp home mode. Not good.

Not good at all.

Still plenty of water in patches, went through one puddle which was at the limit of what I was happy with. One later had a defender backing out!

Ahh, that's brings back memories of riding to work on the Yamaha XT660 every day from Market Lavington to Larkhill - those were the days.........

I moved to Cumbria in '92 and sadly some ****hole stole it from outside a Sports Centre at Workington - probably did me a favour in the end, I wasn't the safest rider on the road, something to do with my lack of concentration and motorbikes being very unforgiving compared to driving a car!!

I went up Hardknott pass in Easter with Yoda, only disconcerting thing was trying to over take cyclist going up the pass (and I am a cyclist), Yoda pulled up the hairpins like a demon.

Black Sheep Inn? was superb down from the Roman Fort.
