That's the only place you might get a fleeting glimpse of it, really :giggle:

Here's the Yeti on its holibobs on Mull last year. Just come back from watching golden eagles flying along the hillside.

Same passing place, my Yeti looking for eagles in the opposite direction in 2010!

Thirsty work towing another car! This was up in Perthshire yesterday. And yes it was V power diesel.

A Quattro towing a Quattro; both very nice :)

Correct for pedanticism... :giggle: :giggle:

I didn't realise how heavy the red beast was! Made the Yeti look like it had been lowered!

I've no idea how my Yeti performs in the snow, but it looks good ;)

Now available in L&K I believe, too.

I have joined an Audi forum for the for sale bit and to ask advice, when I said the Quattro is the same as the Yeti I got burnt by the true Quattro brigade!

Only old Audi's have true Quattro and the Yeti has 2 wheel drive and electickery to drive the rears. I didn't defend the Yeti as there were too many Quattro supporters :bandit:

On a previous thread, I happened to mention the 'Q' (or should I say 'q') word in relation to the fact that Audi used the 4 wheel drive system for more than climbing through hilly snow drifts - ie handling and grip etc.

In a similar way, the Yeti 4x4 system provides more than just an ability to climb slopes - huge levels of grip and excellent handling even in comparison, for example, to my previous machine a Mk 1 Fabia vRS.

There, that should keep everyone happy now...... ;)

Finally some respite from the recent weather, an excellent opportunity to rid the Yeti of all that nasty salt etc....

I love how my 3 year-old looks brand new every time I give it a good clean :)

Before and after pics I assume - looks good on the white as well.

Yep. Sorry, I should have clarified.

Happy Days.

Bet you need that in Australia! The body colour B-pillar helps in this regard to hide the fact that the front and back tint is different. I never notice it on my Elegance thankfully as I hate seeing it on cars.

Yeah, we have had a few days over 40 degrees C lately. I have a work transfer to Darwin for 2 years, I leave Canberra in March. I think it's funny that I'm taking a snow monster to the tropics. Hello cyclones and humidity.

You would really pick the difference in tint even without the B-pillar. The tint is colour matched and made to use different tint levels. I'll have to take a more side on photo. It appears different in the current photo because the front door windows have the windscreen behind them.

Happy Days.

Snowpup just after collecting her in mid December.

Just a few more since I washed it again today. I did a little off roading and got it a little bit dusty.

Dammit, Joel, the smell of those gums makes me all nostalgic! :mmm:

The car looks good, too...

A few pics of our joy ride around the lanes of Dorset.

From Minterne Magna we went up the hill to Batcombe Down, the roads were hard packed snow. We stopped on a steep bit to test the pull away. No probs at all, the Hankook 310 winters provided excellent grip.

Up at the top where we stopped the snow was frozen so hard the it supported the weight of the rear NS wheel without collapsing into the rut.

The wheels are refurbished A3 Alloys from a bloke on Ebay.
