The wheels are refurbished A3 Alloys from a bloke on Ebay.

Those wheels suit the Yeti. Very simple and pusposeful. I like it.

A few pics of our joy ride around the lanes of Dorset.

From Minterne Magna we went up the hill to Batcombe Down, the roads were hard packed snow. We stopped on a steep bit to test the pull away. No probs at all, the Hankook 310 winters provided excellent grip.

Up at the top where we stopped the snow was frozen so hard the it supported the weight of the rear NS wheel without collapsing into the rut.

Got my windows tinted.

22% on the front and back windows, 16% on the rear and quarter windows.

Looks good, the police over here not keen on front driver and passenger tints, especially if the driver is also wearing sunglasses!! too easy to miss seeing stuff when pulling out of junctions.

Darned useful vehicle this Yeti. Nice and compact but a reasonably substantial workhorse when you want it to be.

A couple of pictures from this weekend,

Setting up Tour of Cheshire Classic Rally with 750kg unbraked trailer loaded to capacity (50+ big foot cones etc!)

Very useful 1500kg box van (empty in this picture!) hired whilst setting up stand at Northern Model Engineering Exhibition

I'm not keen on different-colour roofs, but that is a smart blue!

Not normally a fan of light metallic blue but I do like your colour scheme, suits the Monster :)

Looks good, not a colour scheme that I would have considered until seeing the pictures. I like it.

Good pics. I like that blue. A good combination with white as these combinations go.

One suggestion: you need to have your mirrors vinyl wrapped in white. The white roof on its own looks a bit lost. You just need something more in white. Look at MINIs with white roofs, they have white mirrors and/or something white on the wheels or all white wheels. I'm not suggesting white wheels, so mirrors will do!

Looks smart, I hope you are enjoying your new monster.

You mean something similar to our Monte then :wonder:

Black magic roof and wing mirrors; no not quite matching wheels as there a granite grey :giggle:

Very nice Carl, although I think I agree with Johann about getting the wing mirrors wrapped too personally. Looks good though

I agree it needs something - otherwise the Yeti looks like it has had its head bandaged!!

Agree possibly the mirror tops - and consider the strips of chrome to go in the air inlets beneath the bumper, and also the chrome highlight that sits on the rubber strake on the doors.

Maybe I'll wrap one mirror - give it the Micky Jackson white glove look

Actually, I like the bandaged head look - I'm delighted if nobody else likes it, my car will always stay unique.

That's it then, I'm definitely getting my roof wrapped in white when I collect mine tomorrow, purely to P on a parade ;) tee hee.

Really like that - definitely now thinking of getting the roof and wing mirrors of my white L&K vinyl wrapped in black when it arrives!

Keep wondering about making the B posts black (with some Super Skoda covers) but not sure........

Personally I'd keep the white B pillars as a unique and dramatic styling feature: you still have the 'floating roof' effect.

Looks great and the roof sets it off.I also like the blue interior, good choice

I think you have a point, the Black Magic roof ( and mirror) paint are probably just right.
