...I think that you were able to capture "the essence" of Yeti (that one from the Himalaya and this car) at once - that one form the Himalaya is quite shy and this car belongs to such surroundings. If I may ask - where was this photo taken? I love the landscape behind the hiding Yeti!...

Interesting aproach on that photo. Never thought about it that way. While headind into the woods, taking a brief look backwards, that scene caught my eye and decided to take the picture (just some steps sideways for fine tuning, and snaped it).

It was taken in Toscana, Italy... No, seriously, near "Maagar Lachish" (Lachish reservoir) at north of Qiryat Gat.

Here's another one, that strongly reminds me the Toscan lanscapes, a few houndred meters from the above one, slightly different direction:

Had our Yeti for a week and 300 miles. Maxidot shows 42 mpg + which is better than expected at this stage. Well thought that now I have cleaned it I would post some pics, I've been too busy playing with it to give it a good wash.

Was that you that flashed me on the A48 between Lydney & Chepstow yesterday - I waved back from my Black Magic Pearl Yeti.  If so - nice to meet you!

Love it. Which PS tool is that? Are you a design professional or just a very gifted amateur?

Silver efex pro and a bit of dodging/burning.

I'm just an amateur  ;)

Stop underselling yourself!!

That is a beautiful photograph.

How would that work with the tiniest bit of fill-in flash just to 'lift' Snowy a wee bit? BTW, my neighbour's wife is originally from Skye. They laughed and laughed when I mentioned your comment about the submariners and the chip shop!

Easily done in ps by increasing the exposure on the car. Bearing in mind that it was dusk I didnt want it to look too light/unnatural. But I guess it could take a bit of lifting.

Dodging and burning. Ahh that brings back the fond memories of the dark room and smelly fixer. I've not done any old fashioned film dev or printing in a few years since I sold my M7 kit. The times have changed. I'm now in the world of the PC and pixel, a lot less smelly but arguably less fun...

Indeed it was. :)

Haven't felt part of a car-owners' family since the early days of the PT Cruiser. Thanks for the welcome BossFox!

Family meeting. :sun:

Quite a gang! :D
