Aye, the grille and the 'smile' are painted. Trouble is the paint doesn't take well to the plastic chroming so it's prone to chipping.

A better idea may have been to cover them in black vinyl wrap or have made sure the parts were better sanded prior to painting.

It does look a touch 'Rav 4' from some angles though!

Did you have to mention that Toyota creature? It might wake someone up who hasn't been missed. :hi:

Think he's been banned for calling Graham an Englishman. Surely that's a hanging offence? So he got off lightly.

Love that tangerine colour above. I'd most probably have gone for that if they still offered it as an option.

I had a 'fired iron' qashqai that was a similar colour and loved it.

I took the beastie this weekend to go kyaking on the river Medway. Took my own kayak and rented three other ones. Some pics of the Yeti doing duty:

That's it! I'm getting a Yeti next time.. I won't have to bother washing it because they look so cool with a bit of dirt on them

Ta! I agree. A crossover 4x4 type of car just looks better with mud on it. I've still not washed it since these pics were taken. Oops.

Not quite as dirty as Johann's mucky pup...

But it's what you get for a wet week in Scotland, in October.

(But since she is new at this, she didn't manage to hide completely  )

... you can finally say, that the warmest time of the year is here!

Have a nice day!

And soon after it showed 32 but I was driving...

Wait until it's summer here and I'll post some over 40C

I have a snow monster in the tropics.

Happy Days

It is not unknown to be seen in London either.  This is from London on the 9th of August 2003:

Yup, 41,5 degrees!  Highest I have ever seen in the UK.

^ That's a nice rig!

So you go all the way to Goodwood for the Festival of Speed and in a car park of a million vehicles, you come back to this:

TIBET II had a covering of dust by the end of the day but barely showed through the Tibetan Bronze. Johann's dust magnet seems to have faired worse.... :giggle:

I could not believe it when I saw a space next to you!!!

Even on a sweltering day Goodwood is the one place I do NOT leave my sunroof on tilt. The dust in the car park is awful.

Was good to see Tibet II. And thanks for the cheeky note!!!

Not washed it since he came back from his last little trip? ;)

I think he's a closet bronze yeti fan  :giggle:
