Silver efex pro and a bit of dodging/burning.

I'm just an amateur  ;)

Could you do a version with the tiniest bit of red in the tail-light and high-level brake light glass. IMHO that would be interesting...

I can see improved HT leads protection. What material are them made of ?

That one looks just amazing! Loving it

Interesting aproach on that photo. Never thought about it that way. While headind into the woods, taking a brief look backwards, that scene caught my eye and decided to take the picture (just some steps sideways for fine tuning, and snaped it).

It was taken in Toscana, Italy... No, seriously, near "Maagar Lachish" (Lachish reservoir) at north of Qiryat Gat.

Here's another one, that strongly reminds me the Toscan lanscapes, a few houndred meters from the above one, slightly different direction:

I really like that sort of landscape. It reminds me of my home (well one region near my home, at least - I miss such views here in Germany). I think that I will have to add your beautiful country to "places to visit" list very soon. Thank you very much for telling me where it is. As for your comment - I really don't try to make up a story or using any more advanced techniques, when I am taking photos of my Yeti (lack of knowledge and quite old equipment). Sometimes it just "feels right". So I got an idea of a story behind your photo when just looking at it and I found it appropriate to share it in this thread  .

Really good job you did there. Have a nice evening!

Today we paid a visit to the fairy glen on Skye. It was busy with tourists and their pesky kids but I managed to clone them out of my shot

The turret shaped hill in the background is known as castle ewen (because of its shape). Its normally very quiet (and dull and miserable) but the hot weather obviously made it an attraction to tourists today.

Ottie would love this...BTW, where are the fairies?

And could you get a picture of Snowy with a submarine in the background please?

Looks like real Yeti country!  Hadn't seen this before - now on the list for our next visit!  Neat PS...

The fairies only appear when no one is around.

Brijo, its near Uig, a wee single track road signposted Balnaknock (just before the Uig hotel)

The next time I see a submarine parked outside the chip shop I'll grab a picture  :giggle:

You are a star. I'm excited already. Fascinated by submarines...

How about a picture of Snowy outside the chip shop?

Some people don't seem to be taking my requests completely seriously... :wonder:

It was Portree harbour where my neighbours saw the submariners row in for their fish supper...many moons ago...

As I said the other day (on the "Yeti collection road trip" thread): 'Stunning Landscape..."

As "horn3t" said earlier about Israel: "...I think that I will have to add your beautiful country to "places to visit" list..." - I'll say the same about Scotland !

Also, from my point of view, I would suggest reducing Gamma (about 0.70) - tried it on my PC but didn't post it, as I think it would be inappropriate posting an edited photo without permission.

(It's also a picture thread after all)

Maybe you could have him 'chipped' for extra performance while there...

My cat was chipped, no real change really, he still sleeps most of the day  :giggle:

I'll get my coat and head off to the corner. Bob!

Sunset this evening

Dod you take that picture with ma camera?

@MarieK: I like the contrast between your photograph from the 24th of July and this one with the sunset, posted 1 week after the previous one. The first one is full of light and Snowy is so white. On the second the light is more limited due to the part of the day when it was taken. It’s like light vs. the darkness, but in more romantic way. I like the new stickers too, especially as they make previously mentioned contrast even more noticeable. Well done, as usual.

Best regards!

From today's trip to the Nürburgring (of course all the action is on the other side :giggle: ) - space to take these photos was quite hard to find :whew:

I passed by the nurburgring on Friday, never saw any yetis. They seem to be thin on the ground in Germany

Well, in June was the Yeti chosen as a most popular SUV in the Germany (in July won the Nissan Qashqai), according to the Federal Motor Vehicle Office (Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt - KBA). Sometimes it may be hard to find all those Yetis, but sometimes I see 4 or 5 in very short time . So I guess all the Yetis were hiding on Friday :bandit:
