lol VAGcom is the "fiddley about with" software that we use to mess about with the car settings and fault/code reading etc i.e. lights on at lock, alarm beeps, auto up/down windows etc etc etc

Might speak to him about a new map for my Fabia, i'm gonna ask my mapper if he'll give me more power/torque once i get my uprated clutch if not then i'm gonna look elsewhere once i have cash

Yeah it's pointless getting it mapped I know he said 15bhp but that's at the fly so it's only an extra few at the wheels where it counts.

Plus it's up for sale on gumtree and pistonheads

I'm gonna check the insurance implications first before I even consider the mapping... Having had an accident earlier this year (my fault) and an additional three points the policy recently went up by £500, suspect adding a map to that is going to make the insurance stupidly expensive...

However, if I'm not feeling to tired on Friday I might stick around and meet some of you guys before heading home. Mind you, I've just looked at the map and it's not exactly on my way home is it

Having just added an engine performance increase of up to 20% (assumed mapping the CR engine would add about 30 horses) the premium increased by £576 so no, won't be mapping on Friday, think I'll have to wait til next year and shop round for a modding friendly insurer...

With a child due at end of the month I need to hold some pennies back

most group 20 cars for me are under £700

My insurance this year all mods declared is £944! :(

I was paying £71 a month before renewal! That was the cheapest i could get

I can't insure anything above the Fabia cheap this year yet literally straight after my ban i had a Clio 182 that was costing less to insure than it was before i got banned! :(
