£576 that's madness, how old are you?

most group 20 cars for me are under £700

37 living in a not great postcode area with 12 points in the last 5 years (SP30 and SP50 in 2005, SP30 in 2007 and an SP50 back end of 2009), 2 accidents in the last two years (one my fault, and one the insurance companies went 50/50 against my wishes, but the fleet manager agreed to it - barsteward that he is), unlimited mileage and business use.

I'm sure I could add something to the policy to further increase the premium, just haven't worked out what emoticon-0140-rofl.gif

Am hoping that when it comes to renewal time next year, losing 6 points from the 5 year history will help out a lot

lol I pay £670ish for me fully comp and my gf TPFT, I gave been banned twice but thankfully was over 7 years ago so no need to declare it.

A vrs fabia tdi was around £440 for both of us

that is a bit crazy :( (you could always not tell your insurance ;) again not condoning that at all ;))

I've an 8month old so i know what you'll be going through lol

Oh your in luck chris.......think there's a 1.4 and a 1.3 turning up ;) lol

Don't declare the map, as long as you don't write it off you'll be fine.

It sounds like more power is the last thing you need lol

lol more power gets you out of trouble quicker...........and in trouble faster depending how you look at it lol

My mate crashed his remapped Focus TDCi twice and insurance paid out, his maps not declared

First crash he hit Bambie on a back road, second one his track rod end snapped joining the motorway and he went into the barrier

But i don't condone not declaring mods/maps etc

I'm up for testing the difference between a vrs and my car and being driven in a deisel vrs to see what there like

they suprised me Chris..........great wee cars with plenty of go go go ;)

Double post , doh

I miss my 182

Do you miss you 182 that much lol.

If your fully comp don't see why not if it's in a car park bug enough to land a 747 on

I already have a 12 year old, I'd almost forgotten how expensive it all is emoticon-0124-worried.gif

Not worth the risk of not declaring it, I lose my license I lose my job...

Power has nothing to do with the points, a car with 100 hp will still do 85ish on the motorway... The only one of those points I was truly annoyed at was one of the SP30s where I noticed the change from 50-40, but not the change from 40-30 less than half a mile later (still dual carriageway). The others I'll hold my hand up to, still rankles a bit as all of them were on wide open empty roads (A14, M1 and M74) I'm not a fan of unmarked cars though emoticon-0140-rofl.gif

If you don't mind going for a spin in a diesel "automatic" I'd be happy too...

Can you tell I'm getting old yet emoticon-0102-bigsmile.gif

Yeh car was such a good laugh, i only got rid cos the gearbox went on it. Lost 5th gear coming back from loch lomond lol

I'll be honest i don't have Third party cover due to my job :(

You can just gimme a quick shot if yours then.

my cars power delivery really kicks in at 5k so that means driving fast all the time to get the full benefit of the car.

Drive it like it's meant to be driven

Yup which is exactly how my 182 got driven, well nearly all the time. Was brilliant on fuel when taking ur time, regularly seen 80 miles to £10 of fuel and over 350 to a full tank which for a 2 litre petrol impressed me

like you stole it then lol :D

Hmm with my decat on and I see a pretty girl, foot to floor look at me go go go lol.

Just love the noise it makes, I have a very heavy foot l I like the loud pedal.

Time to grow up now though, start saving the pennies

lol i said time to grow up and save with my fabia, didn't happen. My exhaust is loud, my right foot heavy and my Fabia likes diesel, seeing 40 miles to £10 of Diesel quite regularly lol

lol last tank I got 200 miles from £50, 44 litres of vpower.

I try and drive slow, never above 3k but it's boring.

It redlined around 7250k :)

I used my cruise control alot on the motorways, and in town i just took my time and used my gears

Try that with the Fabia and it still drinks the Diesel haha

What colour was your 182? Mines is racing blue the best colour

Mines was Arctic Blue then i added Electric orange bits to it. Lowered it 40mm aswell and it was booked to get tints the day after the gearbox went so i cancelled them

Seat covers are cos i'm a valeter and my trousers are always manky from work so didn't want the seats damaged

Who did your bullets and your interior?

Fancied mine in yellow and White and yellow diamonds.

My car needs lowered but never got round to it

My mate done them all, bullets didn't last long though due to stone chipping and the original coating stuff :(

Does look nice but don't like the orange a strange mix
