Dont scratch the screen, or rear glass cover either. They're no longer coated as per previous iphones it seems

Is this true? Or fake?

It can't be that bad can it?

Did it come with a micro sim or have you got to wait for that now...

No it came with a micro Sim. Didn't even have to mess about swapping the SIM over ont O2 website. I just backed me old phone up, then inserted the sim into new phone, wired it up to iChoonz and it worked straight away.

So far no issues with reception or scratchy glass. Got a Gear4 hard case with it to protect it from damage but not liking the flimsiness of the case. Probly gonna swap for a more hard wearing item.

It ain't a great leap forward from a 3GS with iOS4 installed. The new screen is however deliciousness.

I just got a Zagg Invisihield max protection for my Messiahphone 4

Had this on my previous ifondu and they are very very good.

Well worth it at £14.99

I havent had an issue and i cant replicate it (i have tried numerous times) doesn't mean that others arent though i could just be doing ti wrong.

Apparently it may be an iOS4 Issue as there are now reports of 3GS having the same problem if held in the same way. Someone has even posted a video on youtube of a 3GS doing the same thing.

There is a guy in the same room as me at the moment that has a shiny iPhone 4.

If he holds the phone in his left hand, then the signal degrades and drops off, I did not believe it from the stories but I have just seen it with my own eyes. What a huge **** up by apple.

Here is the Story of the 3GS on iOS4 doing it

I got a Zagg Invisihield too, thought £15 was a tad steep, but after I got it open I realised it's a complete cover, even the sides are protected. Excellent bit of kit!

Yup i spent almost an hour fitting mine

But i wanted it to be perfect so took my time. But i can't fault them. I had it on my 3GS and they really are scratch proof (unless you take a knife to it)

And if you do scratch one, they replace it FOC - I somehow managed to scratch the one on my Dive Computer, emailed them and a new one arrived in the post emoticon-0148-yes.gif

I'm running iOS4 on my 3GS and don't seem to have this issue on mine.

Cheers

Dave.

Just in case anyone doubts it, I took a video of it with my HTC so will post it up once I get home from Cardiff :)

Loving mine and no issues with signal.

The ios4 update took forever to install on my 3G

Since updating the Internet connection icon (3G, E, o) completely disappears sometimes which since having the phone nearly 2 years it has NEVER done !

Think I'll wait a while before getting the new iphone4 and see if something gets sorted with it, had a play with it in the apple store and ohhhh it's niiiiice :D

I installed IOS4 on my 2yr old 3G earlier on this week and also noticed it running slower. Apparently it's down to the processor and memory in the phone not being able to cope with the new multi-tasking features as well the newer generation iphones. My mate's 3GS runs fine.

On another note, the iPhone 4 runs very smoothly with it indeed! I have no complaints so far...

You haven't got multitasking on the 3G unless you've jailbroken it and made a change to one of the files. It's not enabled on the 3G (nor is the background picture on the homescreen) for the reason you stated...

I've looked at these, there seems to be 3 versions though, all at different prices. I'm not sure of the differences?
