Featured Replies

Just all been announced on WWDC

iPhone 4 looks amazing bit of Kit. HD Video, iMovie for iPhone, 5 MegaPixel camera (with a better sensor), ability to record and edit HD video on the fly, retina display (better than any OLED display could manage for the equivalent size apparently).

Released 24th June and Pre-orders from 15th June

iOS4 will be released on 21st June

Trafford centre on 24th it is then... ;)

o2 have opened there webpage for people to register interest in the new iPhone. They tweeted earlier this evening saying they would be having the new iPhone and included a link to the page.

CLICKY CLICKY CLICKY THING

The mrs has been waiting for the new iPhone to be announced before deciding whether to go for that or a 3GS.

Cheers

Dave.

Just as apple remove yet more apps from its store - even force removing some from handsets.

If that and paying well over the odds for things other phones can do is still appealing....

o2 have just tweeted that there will be a limited time upgrade offer for people still in contract....... Wonder how much it'll be for me to upgrade a year early.

Cheers

Dave.

I think AT&T have offered upgrade up to 6 months early for iphone customers, so o2 may match it. Plus their website says iPhone users get 'the same deals as new customers' - so could basically be 6 months off if you upgrade?

Hope so anyway. I'm 6 months off my contract ending and want the new kid.

Absolute pornography.

Cisco Lawyers to contact apple for trademark infringement shortly after.

What an ass, seriously jump all over everyone elses TM and IP, but if anyone so much as sticks an `i` near anything sue them like you own the letter i.

As for this statement "We developed a glass that's 30 times harder than plastic."

Big **** Steve, so did the rest of the world, what with glass being a ceramic. Stronger in what way and than which plastic.

I seem to remember Cisco owning the rights to the word iPhone as well. Didn't stop Apple calling it that.

Well.

IF that price of £149 becomes reality, and...

IF I can get one on PAYG, and..

IF said PAYG is still a good deal.

I might be tempted to get one.

or maybe not. :S

Video calling.... welcome to 2005 lol

I believe Apple have already agreed licensing the name from Cisco..........let's face it, they do have the cash to do so, all those early adopters and Jobsian Cult members throwing money at them........

Video calling.... welcome to 2005 lol

That was the thought I had. Was a gimmick then, is a gimmick now.

I want one when can I upgrade? I want one when can I upgrade? I want one when can I upgrade?.......... :p

I personally can't wait. Just wish my local branch of o2 would answer the bloody phone so I can find out more about this upgrade stuff, I'm due this month!

I can't wait for this either and deliberatly didn't renew my contract in february :D

I'm just waiting for prices and tariffs then I'll be giving my 30 days to end simplicity !

Forget the front facing camera; can I have 64GB instead? :wonder:
