Only 3 weeks to go until my build week and after just ringing MSB Skoda in Darlington it has dropped back to week 18 unconfirmed!

it was ordered on 30/12/10. i know others have experienced worse but it was given bw 14 and thats only 3 weeks away so thought it might have stuck on that.

suppose it can change back closer again just as easy as it slides

Where is mine? Everyone is getting theres except me. Do you reckon Skoda forgot to build mine? Ordered 4th Oct and as of today is at build wk 18. What a Joke

Got emailed today by the dealer.

such a long time to wait I sold my Fabia VRS when the time was right (just before the 4 year service) ahahah after 2 brilliant years 20000 miles and only £150 less than I paid for it Ebay.. bidding frenzy Have a horse box of a 406 estate HDi at moment and its killing me day after day :-( had to buy a new bike to bridge the gap it got that bad

So all in all not too bad. Was quoted March when ordered. Can't wait to collect it now.

Got a call from my dealer on friday mine has now slipped from 18 to Build wk 20. Ordered mine 9th Oct. White VRS Diesel Hatch with a few options. Spoke with skoda today and they have already ordered me £300 M&S vouchers as i have now been waiting 23 weeks. And this morning i found my drivers side wing mirror had been smashed off so im even more p***ed off than normal today.

Will add my company car order to the list

Clearly apparent that those orders placed in November/December are being given greater priority than those placed further back - Where's the logic in that ???

does anyone have the contact number for skoda uk to ring them direct as that seems to be the best option for information.

08457745745 I found them very helpful I didn't have my order number but from my appox order date spec and dealer they found mine and gave me the No for future reference. The first person I spoke to offered to call me back every week to give me an update on the current provisional build week etc.

I've been told that one of the major build problems is supply of diesel engines. Skoda need these delivered from Germany and they are in short supply. Is this the case that petrol ones are coming through quicker??

Diesel engines have an issue with a part which is affecting all VAG 2.0 TDI engines, both 140 and 170bhp versions, I have been told the TSI engines are on a quicker lead time.

Interesting - trying to get an update from the dealer on mine (petrol)ordered 4 weeks ago and originally quoted mid June. What spec/ colour is yours??

If you have been waiting for months may you would like to find something out. Shame no one answered??

For SkodaRally info, I respect your interest in my thread however This thread is all about people giving there delivery date, not personal info i.e order number, if you want order numbers from people don't you feel it would be better to start your own thread, leaving this one as is?

25/09/2010 ordered.vrs diesel,hatch, anthracite,manual no extras apart from spare spacesaver wheel. phoned suk today,they couldnt help as i didnt have order number, phoned dealers,still no build date!!!!

Got confirmed about 2 weeks ago. Still showing confirmed yesterday but...... TODAY :

Appears to have been in built as system showing in transit to Germany Port !

Some light at the end of the tunnel. Still nothing from the dealer, but hopefully they will be intouch soon, else the cheque will be "delayed" from the Building Soc ! What goes around, ... comes.......

Hope the wait is worth it and the tracking is checked prior to delivery.

Also the Yeti 4x4 has just been confirmed at BW 14....so finally our new fleet is taking shape. :yes:

started with build week of 14...............3 weeks later week 18........... just rang skoda uk today and now its week 20!

so its slipped 6 weeks in the last 5 weeks if you know what i mean!

gutted! we are in build week 13 now so even if it sticks at week 20 (which i doubt), with delivery etc im guna be looking at mid june at best

not good news considering im now driving my mothers old rover 25 with a head gasket thats gone and waiting to explode and more time is what the

rovers life expectancy does not have!!
