I fancied a cage and buckets for the mk2 :)

do it

dude, ask dave taylor to sort you a cage like he did for corey bakers anni, i've asked him to look at doing one for my caddy and potentially the fabia

really like what youve done with it, ive had this urge with the fabia but keep restraining myself ahaa

see you tomorrow night if you're coming?

cheers luke and we'll see what the future holds with regards to a cage and other mods  ;)

and you should go for it and do something crazy to the fabia

will be at the meet tomorrow night so probably see you down there B)

Mate if you think no one likes it you need to get yourself on fb! So much love off everyone that's seen it ;).

Mine needs 4 tyres, topmount, tracking and maybe one of the FK's has bust. Not sure till I strip it down.

This car is a tribute to the owner and all Octavia enthusiasts. Facebook guys love it and so do I. The fact the owner has always gone his own way and to his tastes makes the transformations even more cool. This takes balls and not everyone would do it even if they loved it but good on the OP. I for one think this car and the owner is a legend......

Cheers bowders, that was a great post and I appreciate your kind words :)

I wouldn't go as far as to say I'm any sort of legend but you hit the nail on the head in that I do what I feel like doing and go for it regardless of what people may think of the end result, its nice to read and hear positive comments but I can also take criticism as I realize you can't please everyone :)

I've seen some of the facebook comments tonight as a friend forwarded the link onto my wife and we've had a look and I was honestly surprised to see so many positive comments as I expected mainly negative.

Thanks to simon for putting it on Facebook and thanks to those that took pics of it at the national meet as I've viewed a few on the briskoda Facebook page too :)

This looks awesome! Love how it sits.

There is only one thing I'm not keen on and that's the rear diffuser and exhaust.

I love the wheels thou! They really suit the car.

Cheers for the comment :) and bonnet vents are just fibreglass replicas of focus Rs vents and the wheel arches are described as jdm arches, both can be sourced from ebay

Cheers again for the comment and it makes a change that it's just a couple of aspects of the car that you don't like as a lot of people hate everything about it haha

And found that my sunroof seal was leaking more than I thought at the weekend lol

Temporarily sealed around it with black sealer which appears to have done the job but will eventually make a blanking panel and dump the sunroof mechanism :)

Not much of an update but got a couple of pics that the mrs stole off Facebook and sent to me

Thanks to the photographers :)

Got to order a clutch and flywheel kit shortly as I've got the cash waiting now and then going to sell my old interior and a few other bits I've got laying around and put that money towards a used cupra r or Porsche brake set up I think.

Well as the tax runs out at the end of the month and I don't see me using it anytime soon I've sorn'd it

It's been sat parked up on the back drive since August and not moved and don't know when it will move again so it was the best and cheapest option.

Let me look after it for you lol

Lol

It's weird cos I cant bring myself to get rid or to break it,I think it's cos I don't really need a car with me know having a company vehicle now so I wouldn't but a replacement and I think it would be weird not having my own car so for now it can stay as a garden ornament and maybe one day I'll feel like doing something with it :)
