using the ballasts from my current kit and bought 6000k d2s bulbs and d2s connectors off ebay, got them though the post today. i planned ahead ;)

    Well, I've had a fedex missed delivery note left in my porch, so the lights must be here Just wish they'd left the boxes in the porch like every other courier does.

What's the best colour to go for? 4300 or 5000? I just want it to be OEM looking, don't want a really blue one

4300k is OEM, and what I have gone with for the most light output.

Planning on using this HID kit, but don't know which ballast type I need, the can-bus pro or the slim, unless someone has a better suggestion on HID kit (ps want 5000k)

Mine didn't when I had them connected before.

It's not like LED where the power drawn is much lower than standard bulbs.

No but the kit linked to only has listed slim, or canbus available at £10 extra.

Slim also makes it easier to mount the ballast.

Prepare for lots of photo's in this thread over the weekend haha
