Haven't received mine yet, but in the mean time, I've just bought some of this to help protect them

I wouldn't get your hopes up for getting them today, I paid for my lights 2 months ago and they said they would be put on special next day delivery for messing me about. No lights have arrived yet..........

Oh and on my invoice it says all goods are sent via Royal Mail :(

Look how thin it is! 0.1mm thats paper thin, One stone at 40mph will cut through that, will provide zero protection. Just buy some clear lamin-x at least that will resist stone chipping better as its made to protect headlights

I got some new genuine VW light protectors for £7 inc P&P on eBay a while ago - the seller had a lot of VAG stuff - I'll see if I can find him/if he has any.

*Edit* He has nothing for Fabias - sorry. :(

Thanks for the offer but I'm not keen on "official" ones as I find they get dirt built up inside them

True, that they do, or if you wash them the water dries and leaves a horrid pattern inside the glass.

Given the choice of that or the cost of new lights from VW though it was an easy choice.

Hopefully these arrive tomorrow, so what tools are needed?

What tools remove headlights? They held in by a screw or what?

You don't need to jack the car up, or take the bumper off to remove the headlights

how that? please elaborate, arent the fixings under the bumper

I just undone the 4 or 5 screws behind them and took them out, no bumper off.

hmm, i thought there were screws where the adjusters sit?
