Few bits to do then it goes off for mapping.

 

Mainly air intake pipe, back section of exhaust and a little fettling like darkening the rear windows.

 

 

What may look like a heavy media unit in the dash is actually a wafer thin slice.

They've taken it out, sliced about 10mm of it (including the screen) off and then refitted so it remains looking like a Yeti.

And the dash is mostly hollow.

Yeti is shacked up with a LeMans style, BTCC, few classic racers and a genuine Lotus formula car from the 60's.

We are admiring, nay drooling over a 2.5 TFSI Yeti and we see comments about a fading rear bumper....       Are we on Briskoda or Detailing world?

Just got the tail pipes to finish now this week.  It will look practically stock.

Looks like it's going to run around 95db so will be safe for any track.

 

Test drive round the yard (fingers crossed!) and it's off to be mapped... as soon as they can fit it in.

Mapping to be done by the TT Shop who have experience with the 2.5tfsi in its usual body and the Loba turbo upgrade.

They have the ability to tweak the Stage 3 REVO map for the engine/turbo combination to suit.

Which it needs due to the one off intercooler and exhaust etc...

Can you imagine the faces of normal customers of the TT shop, even staff, like WTF is that doing here??! Until the bonnet opens LMAO. That in itself is priceless.
