The Twins. (And Yeti RS)

Featured Replies

I can imagine Richard in the corner going.... "It's alive!" with hysterical fear and elation. "It's alive! In the name of God, now I know what it feels like to be God!"

Now imagine what he's going to be like after driving it.... SCARY! :D

I recognise the face, but I can't seem to place the voice!

With the bonnet up it's like seeing the top of the skull lifted to reveal the brain.

What's the car in the background? Looks like a yank, possibly Mustang or similar era. :D

SO SO good!!!

Nice! Nice to see it alive. Is the rear bumper fading?

Is the rear bumper fading?

Only into the distance, for anyone following I'd guess. ;)

Great to hear it running and there's very little engine movement in that tight bay. Looks like a quality job! :)

I wish Citigo had the same rate of development... splendid job, might be, just might be possible for HowFast? ;)

A little and it's scratched.

It'll be fine for wizzing about.

Put a new one on and I'll probably bend it. :D

Polish out able? Sure Rob could work his magic on it.

Not long till the beast is seen at coombe :)

Sounds very nice - like everyone I can't wait to see it getting driven.

So close to the finish! Amazing, this is going to be such a giggle :)

Schweeet!

Just got the tail pipes to finish now this week.  It will look practically stock.

Looks like it's going to run around 95db so will be safe for any track.

Test drive round the yard (fingers crossed!) and it's off to be mapped... as soon as they can fit it in.

Mapping to be done by the TT Shop who have experience with the 2.5tfsi in its usual body and the Loba turbo upgrade.

They have the ability to tweak the Stage 3 REVO map for the engine/turbo combination to suit.

Which it needs due to the one off intercooler and exhaust etc...

Lots of benefis in sticking with what is tried and tested.

What is the venue you are going to to debut the Yeti at?

Castle Combe I believe

Exactly.  That'll be the first public track day I suspect as it'll be done maybe a week before.

Be good to get it out on a Briskoda Day. :)

Yes, this whole thing has been plain sailing.  Drop the engine in and off you go.

Looking at the list of people going it's going to be a good day.

Could always pop along anyway, ride shotgun with someone.
