  • Here's a video from a rather bemused arial atom driver

  • We have gone from this:   To this:   To this!!!       A Race Blue Yeti!   I need to get the Annapurnas on I think to complete the change.

I do like how OEM it looks, other than the big Audi badge on the engine.

Something that could be changed?

Probably.  But it can be done once it's running and being used.

I also need to get the great big Audi badge off the steering wheel.

We also have not yet tinted the rear doors and boot windows.

Aparently tint for polycarbonate windows isn't so easy.

Try these. Sean is a great guy and has an awesome escort turbo :peek: he's just round the corner from where I live but does lots of Ferrari's and lambo's. I'm sure he can help its about 1hr 20 from junction 1 M11 so not too far.

Cheers.

The people I have spoken to so far claim that after a while I'll have issues as plastic windows can flex more than glass ones.

And as the tint doesn't flex as much...

Maybe I just fit some of these...

YES!

A "Byebye Kitty" version would be good :)

A "Say Bye-bye to the Yeti" version would be good :)

Amended!

Have you considered the OEM mesh sun shades instead of tint film? They will fit in the window apertures but be independent of the actual window glass and should have the desired shading effect.

Details in the following link post #11...

I had them in my previous Octavia estate (which did not have tinted windows) and they worked very well. Only 2 negatives points,

1-they can be a bit too opaque at oblique angles

2-the rear tailgate piece interfered with the operation of the auto dimming rear view mirror

I'm sure you can easily remove the Audi logo from the engine :)

Cracking idea, hadn't thought of that! :)

Can't wait to see this :)

Perhaps he could fit a skoda engine...

:p

D-Day

Im guessing most would consider it childish to guess at some figures in advance...

....so I'll go with 500bhp and 465lb/ft. (if used with decent fuel!)

Best of luck today Richard. :)

507 I'd guess :) we should do a sweepstake

The ones from Vanstyle are a pretty good alternative to the OEM ones.

Oddly they don't seem to list Skoda on their site at the moment, but they're listed on Amazon

503 BHP

490bhp.

Winner gets a drive, yes ?

519Bhp, whatever it makes, it should satisfy :notme:

750bhp.... And looking forward to it :)

BHP? More than mine. Lots more than mine.

What ever Richard wants it to be :-)

Not guessing figures.

But I will guess shovelfuls of both power and torque.

Will move like the proverbial substance of a highly polished item of earthmoving equipment - like sh** off a shiny shovel in other words!
