It's funny how many pictures of it are circulating the Internet.... And all those people who say it's thiers.....

Plug and play, everyone's got one. :D

Nice job and nice numbers Richard, all the best for preparations for the Coombe.

Few little jobs to do like brake ducts and removing a couple of bulb errors due to different set up in the TT-RS.

Finishing touches then Richard.... almost done... at least until the next unbelievable idea crosses your mind anyway! :D

I do fancy a W*nkle Fabia, but you have to think it'd be better to just tweak and develop this a bit each winter...

Is that really a plug and play swap on one of those? I did an r32 engine into an old 1.6 a3 a few years ago for a mate and that was literally just plug and play, all I had to do was match the cluster and keys to the ecu and I turned the key and it fired up

Just saw on JDR's so Facebook page that a certain roomster was dropped off couple weeks ago..... What an earth are you going to do to that?!?

No, we had to change the whole loom, door latch parts, loads of canbus things like the light switch internals and plenty of other stuff.

But the engine mounts did line up as they are both Golf based cars.  Even if it hit the radiator...

I will probably be proved wrong but I think it's the first (or one of the first) 2.5tfsi builds to be finished.

I know a couple of others in the process.
