You may be able to save that with a really fine grade wet n dry and a good machine polish...

Sounds and looks worrying!

Nice work on the mirrors! Feel with you on the rim, but on the bright side, now you can get them painted in a crazy color

unfortunatly, a refurb will have to wait. i have a nice fat bill to pay after xmas.

get that green taped edging back on that will cover a lot of it up and take the attention about from it!

yeh you can mate, theres 2 little screws underneath. (and behind the glass) every VAG mirror i have tried to take apart with them has been stuck in or snaps. thats why i just took em off lol

A few years back I put together an air ride setup for a Land Rover, with the bags adjustable from the control panel so you could do all sorts of daft stuff with it.

Only problem is the UK scene was very limited, so I had to import it from the USA.
