Sorry to hear this dude, at least you are in and around the right occupation when you get hold of the little gits.

Do you think somebody is watching these threads as Tech1e had his unit done last year?, is a good place for the knobs to create a shopping list.

This happened to me with my micra (yes I know why would some one want to pinch a micra) they ended up taking my boot build (which wasn't light) they even took the 47p in copper that was in the ash tray really annoys me

Out of interest Gee, how much was that turbo hose?

Just phoned tps and was quoted 74+ vat!

I'm sure that can't be right.....

they are £74+ the dreaded im afraid mate and no one sells a aftermarket replacement on there own.for a sensible price. .   I got mine from Devontopia on here as he was braking a octy.   i think i got a touch as it looks pretty new :)

hes always braking octys so give him a ask. ya never know, you mite get lucky like i did. :)

I can ask my TPS how much they are to me as have a trade A/C. Do you have a part number ?

  • Author

trade they still about £55+ petey..  tried that 1 too. :)

£55 is a whole lot better than £74 me thinks.

  • Author

still a pi55take for a OEM pipe that aint that big imo.

The prices are mental for standard boost pipes. The new n the Fabia are the same. Good to see the Octy getting some attention again :)

Just a bit! I was convinced he had priced up the wrong part.

I'll have to double check its failed before I source one I think...

Was expecting it to be 20 - 30 quid.

Its a bit better. Think they offered me the trade price in the end. Suppose I'd need a trade card to get it at that though.....

no you dont mate, Trade Parts Specialist.   they serve the public anyways.    IF you work at a garage you can get it a little cheaper just mentaion the place you work as i do and you tend to get it with the vat off.

Gone are the days of needing a trade card ect at TPS :)
