Well ive checked the size of the engine cover badge and its 70mm. Anyone came across a new style badge in that size? 

What was the front badge part number?

For my pre facelift hatch my part numbers were:

1ST 853 601 AAUL FRONT

5J0 853 621 AAUL REAR

5JA 601 151 ULM WHEELS

Ok well I need one so if he's happy to Chuck one in the batch then il pay postage to me on the extra one. No worries if it's an issue

Anyone suggest the best way to attach a new front grille badge, washed the car for first time since fitting the badge yesterday, and it came straight off I originally used glue any other ideas?

I know this thread has been done to death but for the life of me I'm confused.

I must have 6/7 different part numbers for badges and after trawling some 800 posts, even as far in as post #767 I see the wrong badges, still no wiser..Grrrrr.

Here you go ,will amend 1st post, As I was the 1st person in the uk to order and fit these it was trial and error and as later models came out that would fit better 

M2 estate and hatch and FL FITS all models

Sweet need all for my mk2 facelift... Whats the prices and where were they bought... Also where did you get the grill made into matt black or how...

Got mine and my bros off eBay. About £12 each for front and rears. Not sure about wheel centres... Not ordered them. My grill was painted with plastidip... But it peeled after less than a day. Used Hammerite smooth on it 2nd time. Looks good and is lasting fine!

My grill was a vinyl rap, fogs surrounds  roof and b pillars too Black magic . Badges from dealer minus 10%

Yes! Fitted mine perfect. Had to snap off the locator pins on the front one!

For info , I ordered the above no's and the seller contacted me asking why I was ordering badges for different vehicles. Turns out there are now proper badges for the MK 2. These are en-route to me so will update when I get them with P/N's etc.

Fitted the badges tonight , perfect fit , has the correct locating dowls etc for the pre face lift MK 2 Vrs estate. Well chuffed !!

Who did you order from mate? I'm struggling to get a 100% recommendation for FL estate part numbers.
