  • Can someone with the new badges post up some before and after dyno curves, please, as I’m anxious to know how many extra horses they are making

  • My original badges were starting to delaminate and were looking tatty so I decided to change them out for the newer black ones. Very happy with how they look and I think the suit a black car nicely.

Rear one seems like its going to be bigger than its recess so will be a drama asking them to do it so will just do it myself I think.

I think I'll stick

I am trying to think of something to say as a reply to that Brimma but I shall just go with "..................................................." That is all!

Definitely the case. My dealer were quite happy to do all of mine for me until I mentioned that the rear one required "creative fitting". So whilst in for it's service on Monday they are going to do the wheel ones for me and remove the front/rear.

I'm still not 100% sure how to go about the rear one - I have the flat rather than convex for the rear and I read that I need to add more adhesive tape to make it all stick.

Anyway - what's the worst that can happen?? :)

Actually faster to fit the rear than the front.

On the FL had to trash the front one to take it out.

The front one is bigger than the rear, on the rear it was mentioned to use the curvey one

I just found out that the front one should also be the curvey to fit better

Even though it´s in, 90% ok, for best result would be the curvey one.

Well I bought two fronts ( 601) and put on front and rear, the convex front one ( 601) does NOT sit flush with the hatch , I then put a 630 on the rear and is much better post 70 shows my car with the 630 on the rear. Also Fubar the FL badges original ARE the same as a pre FL

Cheers dude I decided today as I was having to drive by the Skoda promised land whilst working that I would call in order them all wrote down the numbers on a bit of paper and left, got to dealers and realised I hadn't brought the bit of paper......... maybe tomorrow. :D

This makes me happy as it's the 630 I've got for the rear.

What "extra adhesive tape" did you use by the way?

That would be fantastic if you could cheers, I am after all 6 yes the curved and flat main badges and the wheel ones. I was going off your post on page 1 for part numbers : (are these the right ones for a curved front flat rear then the wheel ones?)

1ST 853 601A AUL - Front

1ST 853 630 AUL - Rear

601 151 ULM - Wheels

OK, these are the part numbers and the prices I paid:

1x 1ST853601AAUL - £10.63 (inc our VAT)

1x 1ST853630AAUL - £10.63 (inc our VAT)

4x 5JA601151ULM - £7.55 (inc our VAT) = £30.20

So I paid a total, inclusive of VAT etc of £51.45 for all six badges. I've seen others on here quote slightly lower prices, this is what my dealership charged me.

Delivery to Holland - wouldn't have thought more than £8 - £10 at most?

Let me know and when I go in on Monday to get the car serviced I'll put an order in.

Here in Portugal they also said the same.

I asked if the Citigo needed parts what would they do?

Then came the supervisor who stated that they need to create the new part number list for the new Citigo.

That´s it, 10 days later had the badges.

HAHA I asked the same thing and the name Citigo confused them. It is not out here yet and they are unaware of a launch date........ but its on the Skoda.nl web site when I looked this evening...

What a load of trainspotters

Enthusiasts are who discover these great little mods, and who are the ones still working out how to fix problems long after a dealership has lost interest in a particular model.. trust me I speak from experience (I'm also a VW Corrado owner!) So try and bear that in mind before you ask for help on here again!

Sheesh.

That and the keyboard warrior style of such comments that I very much doubt he would dare make as a stranger to anyone in here's face! Caution FUBAR bites! Woof Woof!

Whats different about the citygo's light switch? I had a look at the pics of the interior and it just looks similar to the current switch?

PS, loving the badges :)
