  • Can someone with the new badges post up some before and after dyno curves, please, as I’m anxious to know how many extra horses they are making

  • My original badges were starting to delaminate and were looking tatty so I decided to change them out for the newer black ones. Very happy with how they look and I think the suit a black car nicely.

My last one was near 50 so about that

Getting a 630 for the rear of mine tomorrow.

  • 2 weeks later...

I have been in contact with my local dealer to order the new badges 1ST 853 610 A AUL, & 1ST 853 630 A AUL & his system is showing the part number but not in stock yet :(

Are you getting these from your local Skoda dealer ?

yeah - got mine from Bickerton

I've just got my second set through (FUBAR asked me to get him some). First lot arrived in about 10 days, second lot have taken a little longer.

Demand is high, but dealership should be able to get them.

HAHA I asked the same thing and the name Citigo confused them. It is not out here yet and they are unaware of a launch date........ but its on the Skoda.nl web site when I looked this evening...

Quoting myself as when I asked in dealers for the badges they said not on any of their systems they did look for some time I was asked for VIN No .... I said its not an Octavia part and its from the new citigo and the guy hadn't a clue what I was talking about so I assumed it was not out here yet as I had not seen one and asked when its being released here he said he had no idea not any time soon..... I drove past last week and they had a flippin citigo demo car sat out front! RAGE has set in now baaaahhhhhh

I've got a couple of 630 badges for sale if anyone is interested? Shameless I know. :notme:

Yes but they do look like stickers , I like perfection , not ok from a distance

Yes it´s true, it´s not perfect because it was sticked over original.

If I had new clean surface centers it would be an excellent idea. Not bad for now.

I may be trading my 16" Proximas wheels for 17" Pegasus, then I will see.

And you cannot compare de price, 15€ as one original center piece costs 10€.

You are being ripped off if that is the price in Portugal

Introducing the first pictures of an Octavia II FL VRS Hatch with colour coded grill surround pics of completion!

I have my badges and have them fitted to my FL with colour coded grill pics taken on a mates phone as I didn't have mine will take better ones tomorrow or weekend when I put wheels back on with their badges too :)

A massive thanks to Stoofa for getting me the badges very much appreciated!

With a little heat from my car dryer I used my blue nylon trim removal tool I got on ebay for fitting my Columbus and old badges came off with no damage to badges or to paint work at all was very happy about that as you can imagine. Wheel ones go in but are TIGHT to get in there I am unlikely to be able to remove them without some hammering but in and perfect (pics to follow). Front curved badge went on the FL really well with the 3 studs snapped off back with its existing self adhesive ring, I added some more to centre as this was going to have the main contact it looks fine but is a gap to sides if you look really closely but I cant see it coming off even with a power washer. Rear as we know is too big for the recess in which the old one sat and has to ride the edges a little but on top of this I added a centre ring again to the back of the flat badge to have it all adhesive then recovered the back with another layer again over both and trimmed it around and at an angle so as it would not be visible, I also put in the recess some diagonal strips of my 3M double sided sticky foam stuff to take some of the gap up the badge then stuck to these and the edge of the recess well. All is now well almost complete when wheels back on.
