  • Yes.   One painted Citigo 4x4 shell and plans made for the next stage. Rebuild basics to allow for the loom to be made are being done over the next two weeks. Then a motorsport electrical speciali

Finally!

Bet you feel glad now Richard!

Fingers Crossed for this side of Christmas

That is good news.

That's good news, you must be relieved.

I wasted several hours a few weeks ago reading through the whole thread and I'm really impressed with the work that's gone into this project and really hoping I'll get to see it in action somewhere. It just sounds amazing, I'm loving the whole Idea of it.

So glad to hear progress has resumed

Unlikely to ever see this car in person but I can't wait to see video of it running and the look on other drivers faces when blown away by it.

Hooray! Progress :)

I have said it before and I will say it again. This build will not be complete until front, rear and side facing cameras are installed

LOL

I say 2 rear facing cameras: One zoomed in to catch the facial expression of whoever is overtaken ;)

Any developments Richard?

Yes, I've been in the Forest of Dean for the weekend. :)

1512 notification emails later I need to clear out my inbox I think :D

All right for some ;)

Probably to escape the men in white coats who have found out about the citigo-go :P

I love this thread! So much craziness :D

In two weeks I'll have the shell painted.

Wether it's done by my people or the paint shop Jabba use that seem to work in slow motion remains to be seen.

So has the metalwork been completed on it?

I don't really care.

My people (CnC Coachworks) do the London Ambulance work which includes the aftermarket rear bodies, welding etc...

So whatever state the slow motion brigade leave it in I can get it sorted quickly.

If I need to.

Uh oh, this is the sort of reply I didn't want to see. You've almost lost hope :(

There is a difference between losing hope and not being prepared to work at the pace of people who take bloomin ages.

I am the latter.  Patience is running out, not hope.

One way or another it's going to be painted.  Soon.

I don't blame you! I'm working on a family members crash damaged Corsa which is having a rear end respray which is on a 2 day turn around so for your car to be in the bodyshop for this long with you the owner being kept uninformed I wouldn't be particularly impressed either!

Exactly.

I can get a Yeti stripped, painted and reassembled in three weeks.  Which I have done.

Over three months (I realised today) to get some panels put in, sealed and a bit of paintwork done on a car that's already stripped isn't on.

Anyway, deadline is set so we'll just see if I need to collect it or not.

Oh good, I'd hate to see this project die out.

Hopefully you can crack the whip and it gets done soon :)
