Has anyone been given a delivery date for the Blackline Octavia VRS?

And Damn the upside down badge is a pain in the ass.

You realise the wheel rotates around a central axis? Just turn it through 180 degrees, and the badge will be perfect! :p

Christ mate. I bet your a riot at party's. I'm closer to 40 than 30 and don't appreciate being referred to as a kid, simply because I'm looking forward to getting my Blackline. In my opinion, kids d

Discussed swapping my 2010 fl CR vRS for a blackline DSG and the dealer reported as of today to get the £500 deposit contribution and free servicing you have to have finance for at least 50 % of the cars value! He said it was because too many people were taking out token amounts of finance. I won't be going for the blackline now because of this which is a shame as his opening part ex offer was cracking!

Mines is at the port. Next boat he said was Friday then no doubt another couple of weeks ****ing about before I get my hands on it. Never had to wait this long on a new car before ;-(

Hello everyone. I have just ordered a blackline estate in race blue on saturday. It should be ready to pick up at the end of this month according to the dealer. (who was brilliant may i add.) It will be coming with the variable boot floor, superguard, spacesaver and a full set of mats including a bootliner.

I chased Derek Slack's this morning - mine is being unloaded now.

Due to the backlog though - they want me to take it Friday, but I can't so it will be Saturday morning now..........

I need to go down at some point beforehand to sign some paperwork, so I will have a nosey when I'm there. Make sure there are no marks/scratches or upside down badges. lol.

Will keep an eye out for it on Wednesday when I collect mine!!

My gut instinct is that the Amundsen+ is probably not fitted with the bluetooth module, rather than it not being activated. Still, it'll be worth exploring with the dealer and if not phsroberts has just posted a very reasonable alternative ^^.

Dealers is fitting me a Fiscon Plus kit, supplied by me (£under350) and charging an hours labour to fit, although i suspect it may take longer!! Will post some pics and let people know what it's like from Wednesday onwards.

My dealers finance man confirmed with Skoda that the minimum finance to get the service offer & allowance was £3500 over 12 mths, less the £500 giving net borrowing of £3000 or £268.96 x 12 plus doc fees. total £3287.52inc of charges.( so £3500 comes of the deal but you borrow £3000 )

If it costs you £287.52 to get the £500 + the service offer it seems a good deal. Although why its of benefit to them I can't see.

Unless they have moved the goalposts

I was told £3000 minimum and i can just pay it off after first service to get the full 3 years recovery and servicing set up.

when I fitted mine it took no more than 30 mins and then a couple of mins to code using vcds. Although I didn't run the mic to the factory location, just to the top of the drivers pillar but I don't think that would add much extra time.

I was told the exact same thing which was the deal clincher for me. I doubt they can retrospectively go back and change these terms but unfortunately as a lot of us it would appear are borrowing such a small amount the deal is losing money for Skoda... :cough: VW finance.

I was also told £3000 minimum to finance. Can be paid off at any time - which I will as soon as I have taken delivery. Costs - £125 "SetUp"fee, £60 "Option to Purchase" Fee & Interest @ 7.9% APR, charged daily.

However my Blackline is still in Germany, apparently :(

They're not losing money, it's just another way of discounting the cars without slashing the price too much.

Hey, Ho.....

So is mine. I ordered it last Thursday. It is sat at the port in Emden. I phoned SUK and there is a ship coming over this Wednesday with 1400 cars on it and another next Wednesday with 1300 on board. We both may be lucky that they are on the ship tomorrow winging their way to Sheerness :whew:

Just got a call from the dealer. My. Black blackline has just arrived. Waiting for privacy glass to be fitted pick it up on Monday. Can't wait dealer has just got 5 in, one blue 2 black and 2 white. Apparantly they look good.

Im still waiting for my documents for my registration numberto go on retention for my current car so im not quite as in as much as a rush as you lot are.

Sods law will be my car will turn up tomorrow and I wont be able to pick it up until my docs arrive

As mentioned earlier in thread mine is ready for me to pick up this Friday. I had enquired about adding bluetooth module and they contacted me earlier to say its £350 to fit an aftermarket unit that connects up to MFSW button and Maxi-dot. Seems expensive and not sure if it all displays (phone book etc) on the Amundsens+, plus they can't fit till next week. I've told them to leave it - I want my car on Friday and I'm sure I can get it cheaper.

I will keep an eye on what others do. By chance is there anyone recommended in the North West / Merseyside area who could fit the genuine Skoda part?

cheers

Matt

Did you change to a white one in the end?

Kept with blue. I'm not 100% sold on the black alloys on any car but I do love the blue vrs with the anthracite wheels. I'm going to wait and see when it turns up then decide what to do with the alloys.

Hey, Ho.....

I spoke to VAG finance today and they suggested that when the calculate the settlement they usually charge two months interest on the outstanding balance. I was going to finance the car 90% and just pay it off, however like you I'm now going to switch to 3000 as this will incur less penality. In another thread someone suggested you pay it all off bar £10 on one phone call, and then pay the £10 the next day because you only pay the 2 months interest on the £10 ... I'm not sure if its true but it maybe worth the try.

Can someone tell me what tyres the Blackline is being supplied with

It's in the T&C's (overpayments) and it definitely works. I have the t-shirt... :giggle:

It will be the standard Conti Sport Contact 2's I'd have thought.

Ordered mine yesterday and was told its due in around 3 weeks. Can't wait! Just need to shift my Fabia now!

Thanks for the info, I haven't signed the finance contract yet so I'm trying make sure that it was possible. I'm struggling to get hold of any actual T&Cs, skoda finance seem to think the specific details reside with the dealer and the dealer thinks skoda finance have it !!!

Where did you order from? Colour? I'm only down the road in Dewsbury.
