Has anyone been given a delivery date for the Blackline Octavia VRS?

Featured Replies

Checked with the dealer today & despite ordering the 1st Sept apparently it's not even in the country yet. I really can't understand how they are allocating these cars.

Definately Not happy.

Christ mate. I bet your a riot at party's. I'm closer to 40 than 30 and don't appreciate being referred to as a kid, simply because I'm looking forward to getting my Blackline. In my opinion, kids d

I agree the allocation seems f&%ked up. If you order first, you should get your car first. Basic logic... :wonder:

Picked up my Race Blue Manual Estate today.......it was dark so no pictures, but really pleased with it! Everything seems ok thus far, I.e badges the right way up!

My dealer reckoned there are still some available to order.... He also mentioned that Skoda seem to be releasing colours/models in stages, with no white models in the uk as of yet, this could explain the delays with some of your cars?

Pretty sure someone on here has definitely picked up their white one, earlier on in the thread.

Yep, page 13 has a very nice white Blackline pic.

Right folks,

Was round at the out-laws this evening with my camera snapping their new Blackline.

Who cares to tell me how you put pics on this thread? I can manage getting them onto flickr from my camera, but not sure what to do after that.

The car is stunning, looks sooo aggresive and has me wondering if my white one will look half as good. I had a 56 plate race blue, and the difference to the Blackline inside is another world with the dark carbon fibre effect trim, leather seats and updated switchgear. A pensioner shouldn't have such a car me thinks...

Less of the pensioner inuendo I've ordered a race blue hatch and intend to enjoy it. Did feel a pang of guilt when I told my son tho.

You cant beat a road trip home in a new car. My dealer is only 9 miles away so not much of a road trip for me. Enjoy.

Cheers fellas. Photos uploaded later

Has/was anyone offered GAP insurance on their car? I wasnt at the time of ordering but just wondered if they normally wait until you sign the paperwork.

How much is it?

Have a look online for it. Much cheaper than the dealer.

I got it effectively chucked in - dealer knocked around £600 off the car which mean't i got that included and the paint/leather protection for £80 in total i think it was.

Normally the insurance is £399 which is a lot more than going direct to an insurance company apparently.

Sure mine was offered to me at £299. Can be got elsewhere cheaper. Click4gap comes to mind. Also quidco :-)

ala.co.uk seem to be offering very good prices also.

Just arrived at sea field Edinburgh. My new car is sitting outside and to be honest I am gob smacked how good it looks in blue. It's simply stunning. Just waiting to process paperwork now...

On the PCP deals, what sort of deposit, repayments and final values are people getting?

£1250 down, repayments of £270 a month on the DSG. 6k miles per annum. Not really concentrating on GFV/final payment as I'll be trading in just before 3 years.

Steve

I was interested in low payments

Part ex 3k

Deposit 1900

Monthly payment 220

Balloon payment 7grand at end.

Bloody hell they are cheap. Anyone got one on a big mileage - 20k per year?
