Yes mate, will be good to have more members turn up :)

Yes, having a few people there certainly made it a more enjoyable day than just turning up on your own.

Will have to get a bigger briskoda group next time. Could probably get a discount :)

I was considering popping along to spectate but I couldn't justify the time etc to SWMBO. I could justify it to myself, but not her :(

Had good weather today and I wanted to get a couple of bits sorted so I was up at the crack of noon to get the car looking like this

Thought I'd change the mesh for the widemouth

The new mesh will match the upper grille better when I finally get it back.

Had to remove the old tiger seal which was a job in itself

Then bonded the new mesh

And done

While I was waiting for the tiger seal to dry I got a call from my brother asking if I wanted a new horn. It was on my list of things to do as the standard one is pathetic

And fitted

All in all, a great day then mate. I love the look of the new mesh. Car looks great!

I bet once you fit those new seats, they won't be coming out haha

Good work Charlie. B)

How did you go about wiring in the 2nd rear fog light??

Thanks mate :) I'm hoping to swap them around depending on the occasion, otherwise I'll have to rethink the whole interior lol

Thanks John, I'm not sure on the specifics as my brother did it, but looking at it he clamped a piggyback wire from the existing fog light. The bulb is already there and there is a socket there already for the new wire :)

Nice work on the grille, Charlie :)

Got a link at all please for those Cree reverse lights?

I had them seats in my old car Charlie! They are really supportive! Paid £250 for them and sold them for £500 haha.

Like the new lights, Charlie. Got me thinking again :p

They do look pretty good, not been out to test the light output yet though

yeah, looks dead easy, might attemt this tomorrow now the fog's lifted and gone :wonder:

Great work Charlie, very productive day in all, liking the new mesh on the widemouth, different from the norm mesh used, suits it really well though.
