  • Some night shots: and some not that fancy day shots to give you a better idea of how it looks. Overall it took us a while to install the mesh and to properly align the bonnet

They must have parts from the Evo2 plus you can avoid transport costs since you are so close.

Epic! Enough said!

Looks sweet dude, as someone already stated, especially with the green lights from the petrol station. Wounder what it would look like on a rallye green, although it does look mean/sick on your black 1

Just some extras:

Epic... love it... now Skoda need to release this as a purchase option!

Very impressive...looks fantastic.

How did you solve the issue with water through the vents?

Bgds Dan

Haha sweet vid dude! looks and sounds the part!

Simple stunning, it looks mean and moody, better than the original Skoda bonnet. Love it. Ron

That's awesome. Should look like that from the factory.

Simple stunning

Just caught up with this thread, and that was exactly the phrase that sprang to mind !

Just some extras:

This is without a doubt the best looking mkII Fabia I've seen.

Dude..wow, that looks amazing!!

Wish Skoda would do this as an official extra!

So has the new badge arrived I sent Emanuel  cracking video, like night-rider , you can video it whilst it comes past you like kit

An absolutely stunning example. Looks very smart and OEM. Very stealth.

If an original bonnet is difficult to get, could you find the vents and fit them to your own bonnet? There is a lot of after market bonnet vents out there, but most of them look like crap...

Would really want the original vents or ones similar.

My German is not that good but from what I understand one is made of metal sheets and the other from carbon? Shame they don't have a picture of the final product.

Did you manage to visit the place from where I got my bonnet?

its made of fibre glass in the fist version.

the 2nd one is also made of glass fibre but with carbon looks and clear painted.

havent managed to talk to them yet, but the winter is long and gives enough time to work on the car.

Two days ago I had the chance to test the bonnet under heavy rain. I was impressed to find out when I got home and opened the bonnet that the water just didn't get into the engine compartment. I think the tight mesh works almost like a sieve and the engine heat drys off any drops. Only today when washing the car with the pressure hose did I find some water spray inside but that was expected since the angle of the water was directly aimed to the vents.

That looks fantastic!

Still asking myself if there are any MOT/TÜV issues with the Bonnet .
