I would be interested in the Russian grille cover, depending on price.

Maybe move this list to a new post with the correct title ? This may be misleading some people, as this thread is / was about the SuperSkoda lower grill cover (a solid cover from Czecho as seen in pics above, not a grill protector screen from Russia)

Reasonable idea but the desire for the Russian Grille has developed from discussion over the Superskoda solid cover; so I'd say leave as is.

Something to think of, is that the Russian perforated grille is really quite thick and is therefore doing roughly half the job, of restricting airflow, that the Superskoda one does and, from its apparent ease of fitting should be easily modifiable to become a solid cover (wrap it in Duck tape will do).

Do I need/want a Russian grille? I'm not sure as I already have a mesh grille to stop debris getting at the radiators and for my driving I don't think I need the solid cover. I'll sleep on it.

Hopefully mine is well on its way to me (six days since exported), although it looks very easy to fit it will be interesting to see how easily it is removed. I may also be the first to remove one and follow your example.The make or break could well be the durability of the fixing lugs and how well they cope with being fitted and removed.

I'd be tempted to check and see if the barbs need to be as big as they are and if necessary be prepared to trim them down; to make removal easier.

Although I don't need one that sounds brilliant, a known and established contact. I think the firm do other models for different cars so it could benifit others on the Forum who don't own a Yeti as well. There may also be others on another Yeti forum who would be interested.
