Driving from Milton Keynes to Leeds this weekend on the M1, had a relitivly ****** free journey.

But then. Silver Octavia Estate, think it was a 1.9, couldnt see whether it said tdi or sdi came out of no where right up my a5se on the outside lane when I was travelling at 90mph.

Must have been only a couple of feet behind and you started flashing me and telling me to move over. (at this point you had only been behind me for a matter of seconds, so I wasnt even given a chance)

Then came the hand signals and edging closer and closer to my bumper at 90mph on a motorway.

You then undertake me, cut me up, and sit behind a BMW 330D and straight away did the same thing flashing them swearing signalling them to get out the way, so they moved out the way, you teared away weaving between traffic in different lanes and flahsed someone else AGAIN in an Audi...

I did keep you in my sight but you were going so fast I lost sight. tbh I was rather hoping you was going to pull into a service station, I would of been right behind you ;)

Anyway, I said to my gf and said 'I am just gunna ignore that (amongst other things said)

Probably 15 miles later and who do I spot in the inside lane on there mobile phone?? You guessed it! You didnt apprciate my swmbo taking photos of you on your mobile, did you? hahaha.

Out came the swearing again, then you shooted off in the inside lane undertaking sevral cars.

Your driving was shocking, it really was. I couldnt beleive you didnt cause an accident. I couldnt beleive you weaved in and out of traffic, swearing flashing and tailgating anyone in your way.

Anyway I got some piccies.

I kept your reg in so people can be aware of you on the road. Your a hazard and shouldnt be driving.

Oh further still I rang the number on the side of you car. Your a taxi driver, how appauling, driving is your job ffs sort it out.

When you undertook me:

Oh, and that driver sounds appauling! Should be banned from driving, no question about it.

I'm guessing you've phoned Mazza's?

Yeah, asked for an address. Sometimes things are better expressed in words (although it wont be riddled with spelling mistakes like my first post :D )

The photo's was taken on a camera, sorry reading what I wrote it isnt that clear lol

What a **** - love the pic taking though - shame those bad drivers !!!!!

Named and shamed :P

What a plonker, he drives forces past and then slows down to take a phone call...idiot

Tried to find the number of the company on a white van that tried to run me off the road the other week, sadly Google didn't bring any joy.

Good luck James - give 'em grief. But don't forget taxi drivers seem to think they are exempt from most of the highway code. Shame so many drive Octys and Superbs these days.

At least he slowed down - better than tailgating AND being on the phone!

There are some t0ss3rs about, best to stay well clear of em and not be involved in any accidents they cause :nono:

lol... quality thread, glad you rang them to complain, I live in Worksop, and thats a Worksop number on the side of his cab!!! won't be ringing them for a driver, thats for sure!

Well done PC Walkie. You could ring up and order a taxi or 2 from various bogus addresses.

derek

I had a pretty similar experiance driving southbound on the M1 near J30 a few weeks ago with that exact same taxi

Luckily the roads where pretty quiet so i just booted it and escaped the pr*ck.

Came right up my **** thinking he owned the road. I just floored it and smoked him righ out

had problems with a white van man a while ago and had a very interesting conversation with the company MD shortly afterwards and told him exactly what sort of d1ckhead drives his signwritten vans

You and I had a disagreement a while back but.......bloody well done for taking those pics. My pet hate is t@ssers like this clown who think they have the devine right to drive how they like.

Mate, if you happen to be reading this........****** (and yes, I will gladly give you my address so we can 'discuss' your driving :finger: )

was it you.........

What did mezza say when you rang?

Just done Leeds (home) to MK today and back for work - what you doing in my town then!!!

Is his door mirror chipped / damaged?

Not surprised from the way you say he was driving. Some people should stop being to55ers. Too many accidents are caused by the likes of him!

one born every minute...

Yeah his wing mirror was completley shatterd, and had a brake light out at the back, well spotted

Jonyboy - What are the odds!

Dazza - It was my sisters uni final project, she had to arrange an event, and do all sorts of other things... We booked out the top floor of 'The Living Room' in Greek Street. Top night out :)

Why not ring the Trading Standards dept at Worksop council and make a complaint? Also ask them if Worksop licenses minicabs - the licensing dept would be very interested.

do u mean he should have had one of those yellow plates at the back? Showing its licensed?

If you can see the mobile phone in the picture then I see some possible Bribery going on the because how much is a fine for driving whilst using a mobile?

accidently posting it to the local cop shop could also be interesting :D

do u mean he should have had one of those yellow plates at the back? Showing its licensed?

Don't know about that. There seems to be different rules about licensing minicabs in every town. If I have to use a minicab I only use licensed ones.

I was thinking more that using a phone while driving would be against any sort of licensing rules.

Yup I live in Worksop too.

So I will remember not to give them a call too.

similer thing happened to me about an hour ago on a driving lession.was driving down a residental area and it was a 20 zone because of a school and a lorry overtook me and sped down the road and it was a fairly tight road too in a housing estate  :thumbdwn:

Yeah don't worry about that mate- idiots like to do that for saving 5 seconds. Does it really matter that much in the grand scheme of things or am I just too chilled when I am driving. Had a similar scene near me recently, it's a tight road because cars park on one side, but traffic can still flow past eith other as the road is actually quite wide. There is a bit where the road is narrower and wide vehicles can't pass each other. We're slowing as two buses have met each other on this bit and the bus infront of me is letting the other pass. Not good enough for the moron behind me who overtake me, the bus and just makes back into the lane before he gets sandwitched! Tool.

As for PHC don't get me started. Some are right villians and I have suspisions how many are being used for illegal reasons.... I have a friend who is a taxi driver and he gave me the better firms to ring- some councils are stricter than others- infact our council has a uniform for drivers and makes all the cars be white and less than 5 years old! Only applies to the cars who want to ply the airport ranks, and the airport cars as a result aren't cheap but they are decent. Glasgow PHC's are a nightmare they drive like lunatics I was in one who went through an hotel carpark, did a u-turn on the main road to skip a set of traffic lights. He then cruised at 55mph through the 30 zone!
