Proud to be back in the Octy 3 section after a wondering around in the Superb section. Loved it but had to go back to Octy again for reasons. Its a brown Elegance 2.0 TDI DSG 150HP, half leather beige inside and tons of options (satnav, rear camera, front assist, etc). Love it since a week

Hi All.

Picked up my 2.0l TDI vRS not long ago. I think the only options I added on wer front parking sensors, and the black pack plus.

Back in a vRS since Friday after a few years spent in a variety of BMWs.

now have a lovely Octavia 3 vRS TDI Hatch, Race Blue with KESSY, Columbus, heated leather, black+, bluetooth+, lane assist, cruise, front and rear assist and a few other bits... now for some coding!

Got my MY17 Combi 1.8TSI Style plenty of options (pan. roof, canton, leather-fabric seats, electric trunk, cyclist+ pack, 18" rims, etc...) only 4 days ago.

My wife is getting my old Octavia II 1.9TDI remapped with 240.000kms (hybrid turbo, oil cooler, independant N75/18, scirocco mf steering wheel, Bilstein B8 + Eibach, 312mm GTI brakes, etc...). We sold her Opel Meriva B a few weeks ago :)

Now we are the skoda family. My newborn child (10 days old) is called Fabio :)

vRS DSG Diesel Hatch in Quartz Grey coming in 3 weeks time. Ordered on Personal Contract Hire from Simpson's Skoda in Preston. I live in Kent but couldn't get as good a deal locally, so making the trip up!

Really, really excited as I've never had a brand new car!

In terms of spec, I ordered one that's already built and has the black edition plus pack. The Octy has a good standard set of features so I'll see how I go during my lease.

My Quartz Grey vRS DSG Estate with plenty of added extras was delivered today (leased company car)

All good apart from not having the vRS stainless pedals, but i'm sure that can get sorted in the future

Just need to suss out how everything works now

Hello all ... Just joined the forum... My first Skoda is a 64 plate Octavia VRS estate in race blue.

Only had 6k on the clock but more importantly it had the 3 criteria I needed....

Panoramic Roof

Huge boot (bonus was its the electric powered version)

£30 Road tax being the manual version.

I am not in favour of the 19" Extreme's so I have now switched to the 18" Turini's.

So head over to the sales section if interested. ;)

And now I think I might lower the suspension as I read on the Eibach conversion is best??

I just got the car this week to clarify.

Scout 184ps DSG in Race Blue, collected 2 weeks ago, loving it so far folks :sun:

:) wow someone else with a Scout.... cant wait till September to get mine though it will only be the 150 manual, but more importantly it has a Sunroof (oh have I missed having one!!!) I have for a long while been on the lookout for one but it surprises me how much of a rarity they are... hardly ever see them and if I do it's an old model. well I understand they are dear and these days more people seem to be after SUVs or faster cars...oh well hope to keep mine for a good few years... I may even beet the 8 and a half years for the current one I have. :)

Managed to find a 63 plate Candy White vRS TSI with one owner and 13400m on the clock.

Very impressed with it so far.

Cars have come a long way since my 2004 SEAT Altea TDI

Picked up mine from Simpsons yesterday. Very happy with the service and the car (DSG, Black Pack Plus).

Some points:

  • Road noise is high, but no higher than expected with 19s and coming from a Golf GTTDI
  • DAB and Sat Nav in the Admunsen seems to work really well
  • I got an average of 57MPG on my 290 mile journey home!
  • Slight whistle of wind noise coming from the driver door, will see if it bothers me over the next few weeks
  • Feels and drives in a very similar fashion to my wife's MK6 GTD DSG.

Just bought a 15 plate 1.4TSI Elegance Estate from Sparshatts of Botley.

Definitely a bit different from the 2 cars we used to have - an 05 Fabia 1.2 Ambiente and an 06 Audi RS4 Avant.

Setting up the Amundsen system took a while this afternoon and I'm sure I'll be tweaking it again!

Just joined the forum. Picked up my new Octavia 1.0 tsi last week. Possibly the first person in Ireland to get the new engine. Not sure how to post a pic?

Hi all,

Currently waiting for delivery of my brand new 2016.5 Octavia RS Wagon in Race Blue with 18" Black Pack, Tech+Comfort Pack and Sunroof. Extremely excited (as is the mrs). Can't wait to get our hands on it!

  • 2 weeks later...

Taken delivery of a vRS 230 DSG estate almost a month ago and loving it.  Corrida red, Columbus, Canton, winter pack, reversing camera, panoramic sunroof, crew protect, lane assist, light assist, cornering fogs, spare wheel, KESSY, Bluetooth+, Smart Link and tow bar.

Only disappointment so far, the SatNav maps have a few serious inaccuracies for roads that were changed at least several years ago.  Whoever's responsible for these at Skoda wants their butt kicking!

That's down to Navteq, who VAG get the map data from. Their map data is hopelessly out of data, I sent them some corrections in 2005 but they didn't appear in the maps until 2012 so don't hold your breath for the maps to get more accurate quickly :dull:

New vRS TDI Estate waiting for collection. Put a 66 plate on it so now have the long wait until 1st September!

Apologies for the poor photo, snapped it today after the dealer had shut, so was hidden behind a metal fence!

Thought I'd pop on and say hi. First Skoda here. Picked it up a couple of weeks ago and loving it so far.

This is over in Australia so the trim levels are a little different but went for the Ambition Plus with Tech Pack and auto boot. You can't just pick and chose what options you want here, I guess because of the demand being low and it time it takes to get the cars here. The Tech Pack for instance includes:

ACC

Bi-Xenon adaptive lights with washers

LED running lights

Cornering fog lights in black

Rear LED lights

Light Assist with Rain Sensor

Driving mode selection

Auto parking

KESSY with alarm

Canton speakers.

Stuck with 17" alloys because the roads go to **** in the wet season with the pot holes. Even has a full size spare in the boot too which was surprising. Just a couple of snaps from my phone then tarted them up a bit in Lightroom. Will take some better pictures with a real camera when the weather picks up.

New to the forum and to Skoda.

This is my new baby.

Picked up our new family member on Friday - Wow, super impressed so far.

Main gripe is trying to come to terms with all of the new technology and bells + whistles compared to all the other cars we've owned! I'm usually on top of all things tech/geek but there is a lot of stuff to take in at once with this thing.

Love the colour, love the styling and fits ours bikes in the boot with so much room to spare. Perfect so far.
