The problem with inheriting a company motor - no idea what it is (model/spec wise), and shaky condition from the previous user!!.   Octy 3 Estate 1.6tdi 4x4 manual, i'd say SE perhaps with a tech pack maybe.  16inch alloys.  Has Nav, DAB, Cruise Control, Auto Main Beam.  Name that model?

Got it home, and its had a 2stage machine polish, sealant, and then wax to finish.  Inside properly detailed.  Looks respectable now.

So far seem to severe up 49mpg over a couple of tanks.  impressed with the space ava in the cabin and boot, compared to the exterior dimensions, my last motor was much bigger and had less room inside. Do around 30k per annum, so it'll get a decent test over the next 2years.

Sorted out what this car was.  Oct 3 Estate 1.6tdi 4x4 manual, SE-L.   second 1000mls in my hands (done around 6500mls from new) is showing 56mpg - can't say fairer that that id say.  coming out of a bigger / comfortable car,  comfort is decent enough - slightly noise in the cabin (from the rear?), and front seats aren't quite all dayers (but not chronic)

Hi just got the car and just joined the forum

Octavia VRS manual diesel hatch with black pack plus

Got it in conspicuous green... a little bright but actually quite like it...never lose it in a car park

Got quite a good deal on a 3+35 20k pa contract hire... (so don't need to worry about the marmite paint job)

Hi everyone. I just realised I've posted in new members, Octy 3 pictures, even have a topic on projects, but never on this registered topic.

I got my Octy VRS this spring and have been tinkering a bit with it already. More info here

http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/409859-my-black-octy/?fromsearch=1

I'm extremely happy with the car and no matter how many miles I've spent in it so far, it just keeps bringing the smile on my face whenever I drive, and even when I'm walking away from it.

Don't have any really nice images yet but I'll make some after the cars paint gets sorted in a few weeks.

In hindsight I regret not specifying ACC on my order, got a full-size spare - so apart from possibly front sensors, don't really miss the others and (personal choice) I particularly didn't want KESSY due to possible security issues.

Picked my first skoda up 4 weeks ago and loving it 2015 octavia vrs tdi with black pack, canton and black 19" extreme's. Just fitted the rubber mats and mudflaps to try and stop the kids and roads crapping it up. And hard wired my dash cam.

And I got mine from Telfords in Carlisle..lol Border Skoda had a race blue one but couldn't match the deal Carlisle were offering, and my one has the winter pack as well so was a higher spec car, a lot of people locally buy from Carlisle as Border Skoda aint the best.

Hello fellow Octavians,

Got my 63 plate Mk 3 HB 1.6TDI SE just before Christmas as a replacement for my much-loathed Clio 1.5 diesel (133k). Metallic Topaz, I think it's called. A fetching shade of brown, to you and me. Really like the car. Does everything I need. Very smooth and comfortable. Pity it doesn't have the multifunction steering wheel but had to compromise to save myself the bother of travelling. My tall teenage kids adore its spaciousness. I just find it a joy to drive  :sun:

Hope this picture link works. New on here so please forgive me if I muck it up
