Hi Folks,

Some ****** broke into my house overnight and stole my new car (may they burn in hell etc!).

Just in case if anyone spots her, Black Skoda Octavia vRS 05-KE-7460, please contact me or the gardai.

Thanks

good luck in finding her m8, cant believe people do such things now.

That's really bad news. I hope your car is recovered soon. :(

F*****g P***ks, what did the guards say. I'll keep an eye out.

Mofos...damn it man, why is there so much crime in that area????

I hope they burn in hell, no wait better yet, I hope they are catapulted onto the sun.

They said they'd let me know if they find it - very little else was taken (laptop & some cash, oh and a bottle of wine from the fridge), so I suspect it's gone, gone......

No more than any other suburban area - the main source of stolen cars is scumbags nicking old cars to get back into the city after the buses stop running!

Looks (from here) like it was nicked to order.

You can pm your mobile to me ,just in case I spot it

Someone tried my house last year, its a frightening experience to think someone invaded your house. I hope they find the b**tards. I'll put the word around.

I'll post on vage.ie

I'll keep an eye out too. I'll ring you if I see it.

Hope that your car is recovered undamaged :(

When the *******s that stole your car are caught, make sure that they are castrated with a rusty hacksaw

I'll post on vage.ie

Already done, also up on IPC

Noway sorry to hear that!!! Your car has Xenons i think and there's not many black one's with them. I was only told by garda last week they where robbing a fair few of them these days, didn't say y tho. I would say they are using them as run arounds low profile car with a big boot, very hard to sell parts as there so rare around here! Hope you get it back soon.

Yeah, who knows. They defintely wanted it though, they left my wife's (New) mini even though they had the keys, which they left in the back garden.

Wow, and they are fairly sought after over here. I passed the details onto a copper friend on the bikes, he said he pass it onto his buddies to keep an eye out. Althought from what you say that car will be under wraps for a while and will be more than likely on new plates. Was there anything different about the car apart from Xenons eg stickers etc that they might not remove and would be noticable ?

Did you take a spin around the back roads at all, ditch it somewhere till the heat dies off.

Good to hear both you and your family are ok after it .

My daughter's sun-shades where in the back windows (Purple sheep in one window, red cow the other), but you'd want to be a right muppet not to have removed them! There is a small Park West parking permit on the front window above the tax & insurance disks.

Paddy

Sounds like a pro job to me. It will be on different plates, no doubt. Any distinguishing marks on the rear? Do you have any pics that we'll be able to see it to that we can check out every RS...

No photos - but it's completely stock so they wouldn't help!

Whereabouts are you, Paddy? I'm not a great expert on Irish regs - is KE County Kerry? I'll be holidaying in Ireland shortly in my black Octavia vRs. With xenons  I'll keep an eye open - I'll be all over the country. I will also sleep with my keys under the pillow

KE is County Kildare. KY is Kerry. Easy to spot Massey or John Deere . No, it's the Dublin reg "D" you need to be worried about  :)

As Dave said KE is Kildare - I'm based in Celbridge.
