Vrs Tdi DSG

She broke 40k this week, so she's had DSG service, 4 new tyres and a good clean.

AS3 in the end. The deal made them quite a bit cheaper than PS4. £92 a corner fitted at work on Saturday morning, plus a £60 gift card rebate. Very impressed with them so far. They seem quiet and more compliant over bumps and rough stuff than the Conti SC5 I had previously.

 

Looking at getting a 4 wheel hunter alignment done next week to ensure they wear properly. It never ends... 

To be honest it’s a great deal/offer & be silly to pass that up  at least you know you’ve got fresh rubber & definitely miles better than the Conti’s, question is are you going to spend the £60 gift card on detailing products

Tyres are a interesting thing, I’ve had PS4, AS3 and now Continental Premium Contact 6 which I think **** all over the Goodyear & Mitchellins on the Octavia. 

 

However I wouldn’t put anything but PS4 on the wife’s Fabia.

Funny you should say that, I already have a few bits that I don't need in my basket!

 

I keep saying I'll use up all the stuff I already have before buying anything else, but never do!

Just put conti premium contact on my wife’s Fabia and seem great.  Am a big fan of Conti’s on my VRS (Sport Contact 5s) and prefer them to my current bridgestones.  Was hoping to have contis on the 245.

Had the same phone as a company phone until quite recently - it does do great pics!

Thanks - deffo both working - just a downside of trying to photograph an LED lamp - they appear to be flickering when viewed through a camera lense.

AHH makes sense, I've never had this when taking photos of mine but I guess it probably depends on shutter speed
