You got likes on Tuesday. Same road, same car - previous likes apply.

For new prizes we at least want some different views..... aren't those mountains big enough?

Maybe I’ll post some pics of my mountain bike on the roof.

Seems to be a popular choice.

Fitted the Rieger diffuser this morning, loving the result! Just needs a wash now when it cools down and the sun goes in :)

3D dip? What are you doing with the reflectors? The full width reflector is a bit divisive but I actually like it. Sets it apart from the lower trim Octavias.

going carbon all in, ill post pictures, i was supposed to get it all back friday but its not ready yet. No idea if it will work or not, guess we will see tomorrow

Agree - like the fact you can spot a vrs from a mile off by the refector strip

i was going to take it apart and see if i could fit sweeping leds for indicators but they are too shallow.

Ordered this.(spoiler alert) ......

SuperSkoda now do some dark reflectors, which I was tempted by.

i was tempted but they were still not stealth enough for me.

Carbon dip looks pretty good, definitely better than the images I've seen of the Rieger Carbon finish.

@JohnnyType2 just the tail lights left to carbon dip :tongueout:

Number plate...

What is the process for carbon dipping then? I’m intrigued

It's already had the carbon treatment :D

The lights will get a light smoked tint I think. Don't want to look like a chav or summit :tongueout:

It's quite interesting actually, they float the carbon effect sheet on the surface then spray with an adhesive and submerge the item into in. It's left to dry, lacquered and polished like a normal panel.

@JohnnyType2 do the reflectors still work?  (Actually no idea if there are sufficient reflectors elsewhere, eg light cluster).

There aren't reflectors in the light clusters hence the seperate strip on VRS or smaller reflector strips at either side on other trim levels.

ive looked at quite a few other cars and there are no reflectors either in the light clusters or on the body. worst case senario should be easy to buy 3 more and fit back again.

so legally you cant fit the skoda cup diffuser either? once its on there no way to fit the reflector at all.

I believe the 2 rear red reflectors are legally required, and not having them is an MOT fail. If you can't obviously see them they are usually incorporated into the clusters.
