Dealer phoned on the 7th Jan to say my order had been accepted and a build date of week 17 has been allocated. :wonder:

28/1/14. Latest status now build week 19 with shipping looking at around the end of May for delivery.   

Mine was ordered on 31st august and due to front assist being specked still no build date and skoda uk can't tell me when it will be ((

OMG that is not good. Have you considered removing front assist  if thats the reason?

 I am eagerly anticipating my dealer phone call tomorrow who will hopefully tell me the same...

Oh should I have waited for the dealer ? I phone SUK myself as I was told last week when I phoned that Wednesday is the first day when the next week's builds are confirmed.

 

Not that I'm bothered, impatient, interested..... No, not Fn much

What when he's driving a free car due to waiting so long ? & if he did remove the option what would have been the point in waiting

News! I ordered on 17.09.2013 with 90-days(working) delivery in contract( 27.01.2014).

Dealer phoned on 24.01.2014 to say, build week 8 (17-21.02.2014) with transport to

Bulgaria ~ 27.02.2014 - one month delay.

Build week 6 confirmed! Ordered 9th November and delivery expected by the end of February (will delay slightly for 14 plate). Makes it pretty much exactly 16 weeks.

Candy white VRS TDI estate with pretty much all the options.

Let the countdown begin.

Dealer rang us promised. He does so religiously every Thursday. Can't complain.

My dealer & I don't speak but, we're up to about 8-10 e-mails, horses for course I suppose but, it suit me.

I've moved forward 4 weeks and now week 17. Hopefully moves again as getting impatient.

I haven't heard from my dealer since ordered.

ordered 23rd December I also havnt heard from my dealer...

I hadn't heard from mine so I contacted them which is how I got my update

Rang dealer for update and rang back today apparently front assist is now coming through build date of March should be with dealer early April )

Hopefully I'll also be jumping from 21 to 17 then, due dealer contact early next week so we'll see!

I rang my dealer today and asked about a build week as yet he doesn't know.

in contrast to the lottery at Skoda I have also ordered a new Golf GTI with PP and a load of other extras. The dealer gives you a order number within a cpl of days and you can see the progress online with the vw tracker. It shows you where your car is such as "car being built" or "in transit"

Its a very good system and keeps the customers up to date.

if only Skoda cared.

Dealer was on the phone tonight. Says I have a build week now. So it's build week 9 and so far my heated windscreen is still being added. Not going to celebrate yet though. Our CitiGo is also on the way. Build week 7. Both ordered on 1st December.

Heated screen on 1.2 TSI ! makes kinda mockery of the "Alternator is too small" excuse.
