've ordered 16dec VRS combi, with black design, bolero radio performance mode, 230v plug, race blue, Mitsumi, dab, 18 "gemini, variable luggage bottom, removable towing.
I was told that if it was standard auto would be bugget week 16 but then I must have accessory will build week will be week 22 with delivery May 30

I'm scared to email and get another update on mine now! I was week 21 and then 17 a few weeks ago

Seat cupra, BMW 135 or just wait out for the VRS it's deffo worth the wait.

Same here Andy, ordered my manual TDI VRS estate on 19th December nothing from dealer in way of contact have spoken to Skoda UK a couple of times last contact middle of last week still no build date. I have now sold my car so currently riding around in a Peugeot 206 1.1 as a stop gap ( slow is not the word ) deposit money now sat in bank! COME ON SKODA GET A MOVE ON!!!

That's the same predicament I'm in. A camping holiday in Cornwall beginning of June...

Cornwall for me too, a lodge holiday in mid July, 1st week of the kids hols.

It'll be a 700 mile round trip from east yorkshire, not including the mileage we'll do each day visiting things. not a journey I'd want to undertake in either of the cars we have in the family now. Either on the grounds of reliability or practicality

Both of you, in the past (2013) SUK have provided loaner cars for builds of 18 weeks and over, this may have changed in the new year as I believe SUK were telling dealers to inform customers of 22 week waiting times but, it maybe worth asking SUK what they are currently doing regards loaner cars and informing them of your holidays dates. It possible you could get some assurances outta them.

My dealer emails me every 2 weeks with the update on the build week. It has changed 4 or 5 times but at least I know.

Just had a call from my dealer. That's my BW confirmed as 9. Add 2-3 weeks for deliver and I should have my VRS around mid/late March. Order placed on 1st December. So around 16 weeks from order to collection.

Thank god for some good vrs news! Its hope for us all.  I'm still resisting making another call to the dealer.... Although tomorrow is 2 months from order so I can make another call and keep my 'only one call a month' rule.  Currently assuming my provisional bw13 is still the same.

Dealer just emailed me after I said about it this morning, now provisional bw 10.

Looking forward to a confirmed date

You obviously have a dealer better versed in customer relations than mine. After hearing nothing for some 9  / 10 weeks I phoned last Monday, the sales man I am "dealing" with was on holiday (mid term) but spoke to the sales manager who advised no info re build date etc. He confirmed he would get aforesaid salesman to look into it and get back to me before the end of the week ( 14th Feb) as of writing still not a cheep from him!!

 

The courtesy of regular updates or even a returned call ,is the least that should be expected, surely.

My mum and sister have ordered a yeti and citigo from him since I placed my order so I think he is keeping us all happy after I spoke with him about some of the service people on here seem to get.

And why not, but this chap has most likely lost an order for a yeti from my wife as a result - she will go elsewhere and probably for a different make altogether in all probability .

I thought I ordered my new Skoda 27 Nov, but took a sneak peek in the system today and there it said:

Send order date time: 2013-12-23

Order confirmed date: 2014-02-17

Plan prod week: 201418

I assume the first date is when dealer registered the order, the second is when the factory approved the order (almost 2 months later?) and the third date is my provisional BW. In Sweden we have a saying: Can't wait too long when you wait for something good. Have to keep that in mind for some months now...

Just checked with the dealer today and found out that my build week has now moved to BW 14. Whoop whoop! (Although the "whoop whoop" might be premature - I guess I will have to wait and see)  :think:

 

So it's been a month (roughly) since I last checked and have just emailed the dealership to see if there's been any change. Got a reply a short while ago telling me that my provisional build week has moved to week 12, so that's BW 16, then BW14 and now BW12 and I ordered on 17th December.
