Richard's mk1 Fabia thread. (Yes, I have a mk1 Fabia problem...)

Featured Replies

This arrived yesterday from the salvage auction.

Ran it up and down and left it running for an hour. Seemed fine.

Ordered a rear lens and driver door electric window switch as the latter worked 1 time in 50.

Lens and switch fitted this morning, ran the car through an MOT this afternoon and passed with one advisory on the console bushes.

Result. :)

Absolute bargain

Absolute bargain

I have to agree.

Needs a good clean out inside, but a sub-80k PD Fabia Estate for well under a thousand pounds is good.

Put a smile on my face anyway, will make a nice car for someone.

Well new owner of the car has been in touch and is over the moon.

Turned out on the MOT history it covered less than 1,000 miles from the last MOT (October 2014) before this one so hasn't been off the road for that long either.

Runs well, as you should expect for a relatively low milage PD engine and cleaned up well too, other than needing a set of seat covers.

What a nice little bargain that was!

Yes it sold almost immediately.

Such is the appeal of petrol FGFs.

The estate classic was only 2 days as well.

So I followed an fgf today, in my fgf. Fgfception!

Posting that really doesn't help. Come back when you overtook the person, stopped in the road and asked them how much they want for it.... Then post your findings.
