Only one I can think of that's not covered is the reversing side mirror - you can set a separate passenger side mirror position for reversing only which happens automatically in reverse and then go back to normal on switch off of 1st and drive off. Handy for some tricky spots, like my underground car park spot at home

 

Not standard in the UK but I had that enabled on mine via VCDS. Great feature that I really don't understand why it is left off.

Can you elaborate on this one please? Have read through all of these and this is the only one I'm confused about! Cheers

Not to mention the Retractable luggage compartment cover, which is brilliant! There's no place to store it on our current Volvo, and it's really annoying having to load it next to the stuff I'm transporting...or having to leave it home.

Does anybody know what this is? Is it standard? Or can it be purchased separately?

Btw, thanks for the part number Andy. I also need to sort out a time to visit you once my car has been delivered. I have a micro can cable so I can do most vcds tweaks myself but I would like the vim sorting so the kids can watch stuff on the move

Gentleman, thank you. I had come across that but ignored it when i saw ash try, didn't spot the second photo where it's clearly a bin! No to go and harass them about the colour

Did the same myself this evening - noticed on further inspection bottom of my doors are black, not brown - 2 on the way

I presume they mean the bars that go between the fixed roof rails on the estate/combi version. With the vbf in the raised position, these bars fit in the gap underneath the vbf.

They do.

 

They also mean that the vbf can be dropped to a low level to give more room, albeit with a step.

One of my big bug bears is that there is a setting that the screen goes blank when you are not using it. I like it but I have to choose it EVERY time I start the car...... Unless I'm doing something wrong it is very annoying!

These arrived and I've put them in, thought others might appreciate a photo down the road. They're proving very handy I must say...

 

The bins are brilliant. They are pretty "airtight" as well, since I've been carrying around a banana peel for 3 weeks and it doesn't smell bad..though I'm sure it's alive.

I'm a little surprised about the price from superskoda of nearly 20€. I was lucky and got one for free from the dealer on delivery, but the German catalogue lists them at 12€.

Yeah but have you noticed every once in a while it doesn't go all the way back up (or maybe it drops 100% then lifts 99% and over time seems to have dropped down)?  Or is that just mine?  As it was a VCDS change I can't really give the local dealer any grief about it.
