HID H7 Kits for Fabia with Projector Headlights

Featured Replies

Look spot on to me. There is a slight difference in the projection on the drivers side if you look at the ground but the beam colour, spread and scatter look good, I would be satisfied if it was my motor.

  • This should help clear up a few confusions about "how hard it looks" or "where does this wire go".   My kit arrived a moment ago, and in this pic I've laid it all out nice and neat. You have the 2x

  • It's not the ballast that is the problem, like I said they were both sides secure on the slam panel already at this stage. It's the bulb. For some reason I just can't get these new holders to twist in

  • These are the pictures you REALLY want to see!   Can you tell which one is the Monte?          And my personal favourite...     I do have a couple of snaps of dipped & main beam

It's far better than the standard lights

That would e great. I'm defo going but won't be staying while day as my missus is off and we also want I do something in the afternoon.

Pictures will be uploaded tomorrow showing that magic lever... :)

Good to meet you today and thank you for showing me the magic levers, unfortunately it looks like the later headlamp units are different, had a good look with a torch this afternoon and I cannot see a lever, I may have to resort to the stick on things :(

No probs...:) Have you checked both..? The dipped and main beam as I know mine uses one H7 bulb for both where yours has two separate ones...

Only dipped beam should have one though.

I keep meaning to have a look, it hasnt actually happened yet though haha.

Even though iv spent 6 hours cleaning, waxin etc it today.

Only 1 bulb and a shutter system to give you main and dipped maybe that's why there isn't a lever!

I've got the black pack lights, one bulb for dipped and main and I have the lever.

I couldn't see the lever when I looked yesterday jonro2009 and mine should be the same as yours. I was using a torch and looking into the back of the headlamp unit where the H7 bulb is fitted (in my case ) is it a case of you can't see it but you can feel it or am I missing the point completely?

I need to get it sorted as I'm off to Europe in just over a weeks time :S or it will have to be stick on beam deflectors.

Boys, here's a picture of the lever. Black headlights on my monte with the one bulb does all.

This is obviously looking from the back , drivers headlight as the lever is on the right. So if looking from the front of the car, it would be your left. :)

No worries, the lever is only little so you gotta get your fingers right in there!

Good to see the lever, I've never seen it just felt it and flicked it.....then I forgot which position it should be in.... Oops

The lever was a bit stiff and actually felt a bit sharp so be careful.

Great pic uploaded!

Sorry for being so late with these but here are the pics showing the lever (yellow circle) on the Projector Headlights...If you going to Europe and don't want to dazzle the others you need to push this down, when back to the UK remember to flick it up (Mines are set to the UK)...:

I hope this helps... :)

Huge thanks to Sargentsiri and Slotty for taking the time to produce photos of the inside of the headlamp unit showing the lever that alters the dip arrangement on projector headlights.

I still couldn't see mine (Black Units in a Monte Carlo) but with the help of the photos I could feel them and actually move them even with my big hands and sausage like fingers.

This will save me sticking on beam deflectors when I go to Germany next month for another reunion with the Nordschleife and the beautiful landscape of the volcanic Eifel Region and the Mosel Valley, I can't wait :)

Fantastic thread! So much so i've just purchased a 6000K kit from HIDs Direct! Better to get them before the long nights really get here and driving a lot of country lanes I took the plunge.

I see your car is getting on great now Slotty! How are the Coilovers behaving?
