HID H7 Kits for Fabia with Projector Headlights

The link he posted was for H7 LED's, which are supposed to be pretty rubbish.

I agree with you, some HID's from a reputable source are the way to go.

I wouldn't waste the money on these LEDs. I spent over £100.00 on the H7 Bulbs, Philips and Osram Ones and these were not too bad but HID Kit is the way forward especially if you have the Projector Headlights

  • This should help clear up a few confusions about "how hard it looks" or "where does this wire go".   My kit arrived a moment ago, and in this pic I've laid it all out nice and neat. You have the 2x

  • It's not the ballast that is the problem, like I said they were both sides secure on the slam panel already at this stage. It's the bulb. For some reason I just can't get these new holders to twist in

  • These are the pictures you REALLY want to see!   Can you tell which one is the Monte?          And my personal favourite...     I do have a couple of snaps of dipped & main beam

I sent some pics to ISamage of my 5000k kit via e-mail.

Just wondering if you would be kind enough to upload them to this thread mate?

As it wont let me upload pictures :(.

Did you? There's nothing in my inbox, sure you didn't upload them to a thread?

Would've replied sooner but for some reason chrome on my ipad won't log me in to this site... Lol.

Woops

10x better aesthetically than my Black Pack lights. Really does look good. Maybe when my LED sides arrive it'll improve a bit.

Cheers (:

The sidelights really finish it off

You cant see in those pictures, because its daytime but The sidelights do match the hids near perfectly.

Im happy with the result (:

Youve got an advantage with function though. You have one bulb for high and low. Im still not completely happy with high beam, after trying numerous things. (Colour matching bulbs arent bright enough, extreme vision bulbs are good, but dont match the dipped colour, and hids in high soon break and take too long to warm up)

You raise a very valid point actually!  :giggle:  HID high beam is just amazing! Grab yourself some black pack lights and a Monte grill ;)

It was amazing when i had them in high beam. 4x 35w 5000k hids on the front end. Was fantastic.

Unfortunately theres just too many disadvantages.

I've read most of this thread but admit not all, though I have done a search on thread that has come back inconclusive.

But my question is, has anyone tried these? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SEAT-IBIZA-LEON-CORDOBA-MAIN-BEAM-H7-CANBUS-ERROR-FREE-LED-BULBS-WHITE-XENON-HID-/151281601463

Just in case anyone else is curious like me and try these, DON'T! They are dangerous! Granted no dash board errors but in the vrs black light units they are utter useless. Put simply I ended up driving half mile on a country road with the lights switched off using only the DRL's as they give more light. They may be different in reflected light unit.... Doubt it though..

Anyone any idea what this could be , had a set of 5000k H.i.ds from H.I.Ds Direct, fitted bulbs and ballasts, but the near side looked to have a yellow tint but the off side had a blue tint , contacted H.I.Ds and they sent another bulb fitted this still the same so swopped the ballasts , still the same , I then went over to H.I.Ds Direct they had a look and agreed it was different colours , they gave me a new set of bulbs , but still the same , I am now wondering if it could be the headlight lens, but cant see how, got H.I.Ds and my self baffled. Got to say H.I.Ds Direct were great about this.

You got any pics? If you've tried different bulbs/ballasts etc then it rules out the kit. Really weird that.

Yes posted pics. earlier, still looks the same.

Must be the headlight unit. Theres nothing else it can be

You could always swap kit from side to side just to double make sure.

Yes , have swapped the kit over , no different ,I, am thinking it must be the light unit.  Strange.

Very strange.

How olds your car?

Im thinking a warranty claim might be tricky, as you shouldn't strictly be using hids anyway, and it might not be as visible with halogens?

3yrs old at the end of this Month, like you I don't think I would get a warranty claim " Sorry sir your warranty is void , you have put a non standard bulb in " , even as the bulb has nothing to do with the unit its self.
