Mountune springs on offer until midnight!!

Fitted Meister R coilovers today.

On the top setting it retains stock ride height.

Same make kit as I have on the R32 Skyline.

It has 32 stage damping adjustment, as the Skyline kit. (but the stages appear closer together in that as on the Skyine anything over 20 is crashy and rock hard)

0 = noticably more comfy, but still sporty.

32 = noticably more communicative and firm without being crashy.

Can be changed with just the bonnet open and rears from the arches while parked.  2 minutes tops to do all four.

Overall, I like. :)

Have now made this a viable daily with the edge taken off the firm ride.

Corner weighted and found it was very well balanced.  Less than 5kg from side to side.

  • Picked up the RS today.     Obviously I am in the honeymoon period, but I'd like to think I've done a reasonable amount of test drives and owned enough to give me a decent feeling for a car.

  • Had the Fiesta ST back for a couple of days now, since it's turbo kit was installed.     Kit consisted of: Peron V1 Superstock hybrid turbocharger, (spool from 1200rpm, peak torque at 2500rpm a

  • As many will know, the ST-3 was sold at 18 months old with 11,000 miles on the clock.     Fast forward a few months....   I went looking for another. Even with my fleet discount a new ST-3 was mor

OK, this great little car is now even better.

Road manners improved and no loss of speed or handling.

Have done 150 miles since the MeisterR coilovers were fitted.

I am not selling this car! :)

What happened to the Downsizing plan, in readiness for the New Arrival? Or will it be something else. lol.

Asset erosion persists!

Speed verses fun.

Not sure any (almost) stock car beats this at sensible speeds.

Might just keep it and cancel the RS3.

It's fun every trip without needing to push the boundaries of physics.

Your Bank Manager will like that move!!

Not sure about your missus, as I thought the New Arrival was replacing her Yeti?

She doesn't want to part with the Yeti anyway. :)

Apparently a cheaper car is better in case it gets bumped.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the link has pretty much nothing to do with an ST like I have and you can buy in the UK.

Might be worth posting in the general car chat or Motorsport sections though.

I did Keith. :)

But this is my Fiesta ST thread and it has nothing to do with a Ford Fiesta ST other than it's name.

It'll just turn this thread into an F1, Robert Kubica, WRC thread.

And there is enough off topic stuff in the general sections already. :D

I noticed in a local paper this week, that a Ford dealer showed a 5 dr Fiesta ST3 in its advertising for New Reg  sales.

BossFox, is this a printing error or is it for real -2015?

Missing link

No missing link, just a observation on a local paper. Ford's website makes no mention of a 5dr so must be an error in ad.

My sister has the Titanium and I must say its a very nice drive.

Brands Hatch tomorrow!

Toyo 888s on, hope it stays mostly dry...

Really looking forward to getting the ST on track.

It moves around nicely and is a hoot to drive.

Got the GoPros charged, so will make some videos.

Hopefully of me overtaking someone! :D

Been a while since I had around 200bhp.

Been a while since I had around 200bhp.

Me too, although I'm going from a paltry 70 odd brake to 200 ish rather than your 500 odd to 200. :)

That said, I've enjoyed the last 6 months driving my Fiesta around, although not an ST :p
