04 Fabia VRS RED

Featured Replies

Serviced. Well maintained and loved. Washed every weekend, lots of receipts, recently had new catalytic converter. No knocks and only just run in at 100,000 miles.

New tyres all round in January and the most recent service was 96,000 miles.

Fantastic mpg 70 On the motorway and 60 around town, but still very nippy.

Really do not want to sell but moving to University to study a masters in july so I'm forced to.

Long mot with no advisories.

Viewing welcome, £2900

I can relate to that, as mine's going next week. :'(

Looks really nice that, and the price is pretty realistic too imo, , but tell the potential punters how many owners it's had.

Haha thanks!

I know it's perfect for everything but Uni = 0 money :(

It's had 4 previous owners!

When was the timing belt done?

  • Author

The timing belt was done at 34000 miles. So it is probably due. I don't know why it was done so early as it was a previous owner that changed it.

Just a bit it is!!  :o

It's been for sale for 2 weeks and not had any interest :( priced too high? Really need it gone soon!

How much is a belt change usually on these?

Depends where you go, between 2-300 quid I think.

Im looking to import a Mk1 Fabia Vrs into Ireland as pickings are slim here, this is along the lines Im looking for. Can you PM me your email addy please.

How much is a belt change usually on these?

Just been through my paperwork for my VRS. Mine was done (with water pump) in 2010 by an independent and cost just shy of £250. So I'm guessing at least £300 region now by an independent and probably considerably more by a Skoda dealer.

Appreciate you letting us know thanks Skid.

Looks good mate but I think I'd get that cambelt done!

It's due every four years or 60k miles.

Get the belt done and leave it at the same price or knock off the money as that's all someone will do when they view it.

Based on the fact that the cam belt is due then. I will lower the price to £2700!

Belt should be 300, had mine done a few months ago

Looks a very nice example, GLWS
