Skoda VRS laptimer?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have a 2014 octavia vrs and in the handbook it says there is a 'laptimer' function on the maxidot display ( in the centre of my dash) after following the instructions i am unable to find this feature... Is it a feature not available in the UK? Any advice would be appreciated... I have most of the optional extras and the columbas satnav package so i would have thought it would be on there...

Oh and anyone considering getting one- GET ONE, great car :)

cheers

Not a feature on UK cars but someone with VCDS can enable it for you.

cheers, im new to all this.. whats VCDS, and how would i go about getting that sorted? is there anything else VCDS enables/allows me to do/get?

cheers

There is a list here of the things that can currently be enabled / changed:

VCDS is basically a way of connecting to the systems in your car, you can buy the cables / software for yourself or you can get in touch with someone locally who has one and asking them nicely to make some changes for you in return for some beer tokens ;)

LapTimer regards activate only OIII having MaxiDOT color and type of the instrument panel with the end number 871 - seen in adaptation

I haven't seen a vRS I haven't been able to enable laptimer on yet.

jackmiers, if you are anywhere near me I'll quite happily enable it for you, along with cornering fogs and a few other tweaks if you want
