Hi, I've had my Roomster for 3 weeks now and last Friday night took it for a run down to Norfolk for the weekend, as it was the first bit of proper unlit night driving since I got the car I found the distance of the headlight beam to be terrible! I had a boot fully loaded and the cabin headlight adjustment to its highest and it only illuminated a distance of 2-3 car lengths. Certainly not sufficient for fast un-illuminated A and B roads.

 

So while I was there I adjusted (what I thought) was the beam angle adjustment to find it was the adjustment for the distance the projector lens extends from the cutout in the headlight. Doh! I Faffed around with it so much before realising I can't remember where it was before I started.

 

I have now adjusted the beam angle with the other hex screw on the top of the headlight but could somebody please look at their Roomster and see if there is a gap (if any) between the opening for the projector lens and the lens itself?

Edit: Forgot to mention it's a 2010 Roomster 1.2TSI 105 with the separate H7's for dipped and full beam.
